I personally did not enjoy my package deal of introduction Pilates classes. The female instructor went too fast and was a bad teacher. For introductory level 1 class, they need better instructors and class length should be longer so you can learn the bars and exercises slowly. I didn’t return here after my 5 package class deal. Lots of spine neurology doctors recommend Pilates for medical physical therapy, and vibes should create a new class specific for those patients, and should have an instructor who teaches slowly and gently. This introduction class was too fast, too rough and painful for the spine. One student even called out the female instructor during class asking her to slow down and questioned “isn’t this a beginners class?” I’m glad she did because the female instructor was going at the pace of advanced level 3 class. For mat Pilates class, no one showed up.

There are a lot of people there of certain ethnicity, I came once and woman started pushing me away with her hands saying its not enough space. Another day I came in and it was very crowded so i found a spot on the back and the woman said " I hope you are not going to stand here, I need more space" I said " there is not much space here really, it is a lot of people here today. Than when class started she started pushing me and screaming at me. I will never go back there.

I had the worst pilates experience here. :( The instructor was scatterbrained and messy, was having students do exercises that made no sense/weren't really using the reformer as it should be used, reformer equipment was old and falling apart (instead of proper foot bars they have... a metal bar wrapped in styrofoam which would edge off when you put pressure on it, hurting your feet). Unrelated to the workout but about the receptionist- she wasted 10 minutes of my time making me late for the class (which the instructor complained to me about), asking for my full name to sign me up for a random class happening at the same time and trying to charge me even though I was insisting to her I already paid and was trying to go to the pilates class which already started. She was so confused throughout, she had no idea what she was doing and fully just... sucked at this job of... signing people in to class and directing them there. Skip this even if classes are discounted and head to a proper pilates studio. There is a reason they get discounted and it's worth it for you not to waste an hour of your time risking getting hurt, strained, or disappointed here.

Ok so this is an update to my earlier review! My knee took a LONG time to feel better and I honestly didnt know if I wanted to come back (truthfully i did NOT but its VERY close to my home and DEEPLY convenient so I once I started feeling sad about not being able to shake my butt on a pole i found myself booking another class) the owner also made an impassioned (albeit slightly pushy) plea for me to return and update my review. he offered me a comped class which, at first, I was disinclined to accept but asked to be credited to my account should i wish to return (which i wasnt sure about) I still had two additional classes in a groupon i had previously purchased and so since I had already paid for 3 classes and a 4th should be incoming I figured since I FINALLY WANTED TO AGAIN, id give it a shot To address my top concern THERE ARE CRASH MATS. When i asked the owner if there were crash mats he said no. But my instructor DEF pulled one out when she had us doing harder moves and so im not sure if she OWNS the crash mats herself or what but THEY EXIST. SAFETY IS ASSURED. Now for the instructor. I think her name as Lynn and honestly the class was less structured than I had hoped but, she HELPED US through the moves and gave us encouragement and thats really all we wanted! The crowd (again) had women of various sizes and this was a MUCH more beginner friendly class. Im really happy I gave vibez another chance and Im glad the other instructor left to be honest.

Took classes with Lyn! She's amazing, you'll definitely have an amazing time and leave feeling really good. She makes sure that every student, no matter the level, is cratered to and getting the hang of things. If you don't get out much, Tuesday nights will give you all of the vibes at vibez! And her parties are definitely a time you'll remember! If you're looking to book a party this is the place and Lyn is the instructor to get the job done! Check this place out for sure and try pole classes and/or parties with Lyn!

I just dont see how this studio has so many positive reviews. They do not use saftey crash mats when teaching people how to pole dance. I was a beginner, showed up on the instructors last day, was mostly ignored while she had her last hurrah with her friends who comprised the vast majority of the rest of the class. She would go over how to do a move once or twice and move on to teach the more advanced students. It felt less like i was being instructed in the move and more like she was showing off how hot she was. I literally fell attempting a move while she wasnt looking in the first five minutes and landed directly on my knee and was so hurt i couldnt continue or go to work the next day. When i asked her to explain the move more she said "youre scared to come off the ground. Dont worry its a beginner move theres no way to fall you wont fall." BUT I HAD ALREADY FALLEN AND REALLY HURT MYSELF AND LOW KEY WEPT IN THE BATHROOM OVER IT. The class wasnt structured for beginners in any capacity. It felt like an open free pole class and i was way out of my depth. It honestly was everything i feared going in to pole dance. It was full of really confident, attractive women who knew each other, all the steps and the instructor. I was an outcast and rapidly upgraded to an injured outcast. My boyfriend had a blast though! And i loved the presence of full figured women. Just them being there went a long way toward assuaging my fears that id be the heaviest one. But it still didnt feel good to be SO left out. I dont want to come back. It feels unsafe and also ...unwelcoming. Like im glad my boyfriend came with me because i ...dont see myself making any friends. They all only spoke to each other. The vibes were amazing between the instructor and her friends. I felt especially bad being left out in the cold because it seemed fun on the inside of the clique. She REALLY enjoyed her last day.I had been looking forward to trying my hand at pole for so long. This was honestly a horrible first impression, im heartbroken and will probably be seeking some sort of refund and going back to lyra hoop with body and pole. I just dont think Mathieu would have let me fall like that i really dont.

MY EXPERIENCE WAS NOTHING SHORT THAN AMAZING THE INSTRUCTOR WAS SUPER CHARGED. IT WAS EXCITING AND ENERGIZING. THE LADIES AT THE FRONT MADE IT EASY FOR US AS IT WAS OUR FIRST TIME AND I APPRECIATE THEM FOR THAT. WE WILL BE GOING BACK.
