Buying a house and getting a mortgage is not known to be an easy process. I'm glad I got to work with Mr. Czar Yeung to purchase my property. Czar gave me tips on navigating the process and had a very quick turnaround on all the paperwork that we needed to get through to process a mortgage.

Michelle Lin was our loan broker. She was very helpful in explaining the process and answered any questions we had along the way. We had trouble getting an initial loan for our home purchase. Someone introduced us to Michelle and she was able to help us get our loan approved and closed within 30 days. Thank you for all your help, Michelle!

Czar Yeung helped us buy our first home 4 years ago and is recently helping me refinance. Being the first home buyer, we were unfamiliar with all the details of the mortgage process. Czar is kind, helpful, knowledgeable, professional and responsive, answering every question we had immediately and provided valuable advice. Words couldn’t even express how grateful I was to have chosen Mr. Czar Yeung of Summit Mortgage to handle my mortgage needs on my dream home. I was shopping for a loan officer who must be caring and knowledgeable, and my accountant recommended Mr. Yeung. Our initial analytical meeting was very helpful and crucial. Czar patiently and informatively explained to me all my options and feasible tactics. He asked what my concerns were and he answered all the questions i had. He prepared a detailed list of what documentation I needed to gather, and he explained what each and everyone of them meant and why they were needed. He was very organized and thorough. Most importantly, the whole process was completed much sooner than I had expected! I was so pleased to be able to move into my house a month before my kids started new school in the fall! I knew he worked around the clock to facilitate my application. I really appreciated him. Forgot to mention he is also fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin, so it made communication among my family a breeze. I highly recommend Mr. Yeung to y’all!

This review is for my experience with Summit Mortgage Bankers, Inc. The office is located in Flushing - in a relatively new and clean building. Social distancing measures were also very well-prepared and set up for customers. The location is a bit hard to find at first, due to some nearby construction. As many know, the loan process can be very lengthy, tedious and sometimes convoluted. From the technical jargon to dealings with finances - it can get very stressful. Having that experience in the past, it does not matter how many times you've been through it- it seems as if this process alone will continue to be forever of a huge to-do. It is just the nature of the entire workings when dealing with loans, banks, and obvious, your money. Part of the equation in making the process not as difficult, is to find the right loan officer. I have heard of horror stories with many friends who have had negative experiences with officers. That is why many people find the handling of loans so daunting. Given all that, we are soooo very lucky to have found Rui Wang. She was referred by someone we knew and not one day do we ever regret meeting her. We actually count our lucky stars. The topic on loans, terminologies, monitoring of interest and considering economic indicators and other factors are so intimidating, especially if you are not in finance. Believe me, as versed as I am and having an adequate command in the English language - the financial world oftentimes seem to speak in "alien". I have seen other officers talking to customers rapidly and assumes everyone knows, and clients will try to play it off like they understand so as not to feel stupid. Well, you know what, if I have my money on the line, there is no way ever that I am playing it off like a scholar and pretend that I comprehend. This is a huge investment dealing with your own bank account, after all. Luckily for us, Rui was able to break down the steps into elementary terms. Rui went above and beyond our expectations - from answering our inquiries with utmost detail to checking on the daily rates, and ultimately, really making certain we understand what is involved in the process. Rui is super knowledgeable and constantly offers exceptional service, even all the way to the last day during closing. It is not everyday we come across extraordinary professionals who take their time to care for people beyond the scope of their jobs. It is really about caring for others during the entire process (especially when it can be so grueling). As a result of this VERY positive experience, I have referred many friends and acquaintances. That way, I can share the "wealth" and all good things with the rest of the world.

My wife and I bought our first home in 2018, and entertained the idea of refinancing earlier this year before COVID. I believe the rate was 3.125% but so glad we waited. In late July, we stumbled upon a facebook parenting group, and came across a random post about refinancing. The rates were at one of the all time lows since the 2008 financial crisis. I think fate allowed us to meet the incredible Hodge Peng and his wonderful team at Summit Mortgage Bankers. Hodge has been a professional since day one. He kept an open dialogue, proactive, transparent with all the fees/costs, advised us, and always responded to our questions and concerns in a timely fashion. My wife and I felt comfortable, and in control during the entire refinancing cycle that started on 7/26, and closing on 9/3. We patiently waited and lucked out at an incredible rate. If you are looking for a mortgage or refinance, we highly recommended SMB to our friends and family.

Johnny Tsu approved my loan within 30 days and closed on the 40th day! Unbelievable I couldn’t believe it. Rate is so cheap best thing is i didn’t have to go do anything he made it so easy for me. Definitely will come back for my next house!

If I can get more stars to Johnny Tsu (Tsin Zee Tsu), I will. He's very patient, professional, walk me thru every step of the process, simplize all the complications , even helped me negotiate with seller's agent and attorney for issues, He goes far above and beyond the average mortgage banker. and last but not least he gets me the lowest interest rate!! I will definitely recommend him!!!

Johnny Tsu approved my loan within 30 days and closed on the 40th day! Unbelievable I couldn't believe it. Rate is so cheap best thing is i didn't have to go do anything he made it so easy for me. Definitely will come back for my next house!

Eva wu has been very helpful in getting my family a mortgage. I was able to refinance a property and cash out and purchase a primary house. I continuously come back and send my other family members as well...she gets the job done....thanks again
