This bike shop is in my neighborhood and I went there with my buddy to get a brake line fixed and there was a $18 fee to install a brake line and the worker says to me with a attitude “Do you want to do it yourself” very disrespectful. And overpriced

Took my bike to this shop to install new brakes, initally experience was great and Craig was very accomodating. However I call into question more of their business tactics and the experience of their mechanics. The brakes look fine and work properly however I did not appreciate them charging me another 50-ish bucks to tighten everything when I was conversing with Craig and let him knew it was a project bike and I was going to replace most of the parts without first asking me. I only wanted the brakes because I don't mess around with that. Sure a few decades in the bike industry and what not but a lot of my parts came overtighten and without any grease... who the hell forgets to put grease on pedals.

The front desk/owner is rude. He didn’t seemed interested in taking a look in my bike and quick to dismiss customers as if they’re annoying them. If you don’t want business then why are you even open???

Stopped by the shop and they said they don’t know how to change flats and the mechanic is out. These are basics that everyone at the shop should be able to perform.
Cycling from jersey and this was the only shop avail.
Schedule of when the mechanic is at the shop would be helpful

Koreans, don't go here. They sell multiple bicycles and even though I go for an inspection every year, they are not very friendly. Maybe it's because business is good and there are a lot of customers, but it's very bad!!! Drive a little further and go to the bicycle shop in Douglaston.
Peak Bicycle Pro
It’s near Douglaston train station!!!!

Called them looking for a specific bike they had in stock, price was great and they even held it for over a week for me until I was able to pick it up. Great customer service. Thank you

I went in today with my brand new bike because there was an issue with the brake and Rob took care of me with the utmost professionalism and courtesy. We first expected about 2 hours but he had me out of there in 20 minutes and charged me only $25 for the repair. Would've paid a lot more elsewhere.

In terms of accessories, the price of the whole vehicle is high and the service is not good. The rear brake system of the new car I bought for my son is not sensitive. They said it is because the rear brake line is longer than the front brake line. This is the first time in all my years of riding that I have heard that the length of the brake line can lead to different sensitivity!
