Dr. Chew is truly such a wonderful vet and our Mochi was taken care of every single time we went and he always returned our calls. Only thing that prevents me from giving the clinic a 5 star rating is that they are very old school and don't do email correspondence, so if we need Chewy to verify a med, we need to go to the clinic to pick the physical prescription and or copies of records. We made the difficult choice to switch to somewhere closer to us as we are in Forest Hills. If you're fairly local to this clinic, we absolutely recommend Dr. Chew.

They're the best. The vets here are fantastic and deeply caring, they've taken good care of my cat for a variety of concerns and I felt happy and satisfied each time. My sister moved and felt sad that she wasn't going to find another vet like ours anywhere else, I forget his name but the guy with glasses is just wonderful.

Nice small clinic, the prices are getting a bit too much- over 300 dollars for two dogs yearly vaccines.
Dr chu is very nice and quite knowledgeable

I have been using this vet for ten years and wouldn't go anywhere else. Dr. Biederman always makes sure my cats are healthy and knows his stuff. I find the pricing reasonable and the office staff have helped me reschedule appointments with little fuss.

Nice and local. They always are able to help us out with an urgent appointment when our previous vet was booked up for weeks ahead. They really take the time to hear your concerns and do the best they can for your pet.

I am baffled by the poor reviews of Dr Chew. It is as if I experienced a totally different person. Dr Chew has been nothing less than amazing in caring for my senior dog as well as for my concerns and emotions. Dr Chew always listened, and always respected my thoughts,my opinions, and my concerns. He would share his thoughts, opinions, and concerns, and discuss all my options . He always returned my calls. I found the office staff to be sweet and organized. My sweet lab mix girl made it to one month shy of 17 comfortable years under the care of doctor Chew. I would give him six stars if I could.

Dr. Chew was rude and disrespectful… I came here with my friend and her cat who had gotten out and he confused as a stray and told us to not waste our time with a stray cat and put him down. Doctors like these should not have a license when they are just out to get money and don’t care or love animals.

Dr. Chew was rude and disrespectful... I came here with my friend and her cat who had gotten out and he confused as a stray and told us to not waste our time with a stray cat and put him down. It's very sad that doctors like these are in business it's clear they are just out to collect a check.

We've been taking our pets to Dr. Mitch & Jack Biederman for over 13 years. Since his retirement, the care and attention has never been the same. Last month I brought my dog in for a consultation with Dr. Jonathan Biederman and to say she was severely misdiagnosed would be an understatement. My dog was feeling weak and lethargic and after receiving her results, the doctor claimed that this was associated with her kidneys. He recommended we feed her kibble intended for kidney support and redo the test in 6 months. Two days later, my dog's health declined significantly, she could not get out of bed, eat or drink. I called Petcare immediately, and since Dr. B was not in I was told by Dr. Chu that my dog was severely anemic and based on her bloodwork it was likely cancer. Of course the news SHOCKED us as this was NEVER mentioned 2 days prior. We quickly took our dog to Kew Gardens Animal Hospital (what a gem!) for a second opinion. Upon receiving a copy of her recent bloodwork, the notes from the pathologist were very clear. My dog did not have kidney issues! She was chronically anemic, with detailed instructions on next steps. This was very clearly written in the report by the pathologist. All he had to do was READ the results written on paper. This was not only NEGLIGENT but completely IRRESPONSIBLE on Dr. Biederman's behalf. IF YOU CANNOT READ VERY EXPLICIT NOTES OR EXAMS YOU SHOULD NOT BE A DOCTOR. Thankfully, we got a second opinion because what my dog needed was an emergency splenectomy and was at risk of a rupture! His misdiagnosis would have been DEADLY to our dog. This happened about a month ago, and to this day Dr. Biederman has never called, checked in or followed up with us. IF YOU CARE FOR YOUR PETS, DO NOT GO HERE!!!!
