Hectic but you gotta make the trip at least once. Tough with little kids. Very crowdeded getting there but worth the experience.

I really like the food court in the basement of the Flushing New World Mall! There’s a particular place that’s my favorite, and they serve an incredible hot pot. I plan to try more dishes in the future, but for now, the place in the photo is my favorite. If you're in the area, I highly recommend checking it out!

We have a wide selection of Chinese, Japanese, and other Asian ingredients, as well as Sunday food.
I think the price is also cheap.
There is also a food court inside the mall.
If you shop at the supermarket here, you can get a discount on underground parking.

In January, I visited New World Mall again, and the Asian food offerings have significantly improved. I would give the food options a 4 star. Besides the diverse food options, there are two bubble tea stands and a dessert spot. Unfortunately, my red bean dessert didn't meet expectations. It tasted like canned red beans with hot water added. The variety of Taiwanese, Ramen, and Udon dishes was a pleasant surprise. Some stands enhanced their signs, adding decorative flair. There is a new big Shanghainese restaurant.
The mall has a candy machine which cost lower than other near by malls. For restroom convenience, I recommend the ones on the higher floors, as the food court restroom wasn't clean during my visit. Despite the crowded atmosphere, finding a table for eight was manageable. One advantage of food courts is the absence of tipping, which adds to the overall savings. If you love spicy, this food court offers a variety of options.
Overall, my experience was positive, and I would return to explore the foods.

Only loses a star for having a chaotic parking garage and creepy lower level of said garage (why is it so wet??) But the food court is absolutely delicious. Be prepared to have to stalk tables for an available seat

I’ve seen this years ago and I had not been able to stop by until now. I’ve enjoyed the crispy soup dumplings - they look amazing being cooked and were piping hot. The fresh pulled noddles - ox tail soup, was really good, I think I would try their beef version next time. The meat sticks were season with five spice and cooked perfectly. I would stop here for the food court. The grocery store is visited by locals and on a Saturday it was very busy. I would come back to visit again in the future.
