What’s Old Is New, this neighborhood institution has been serving up exquisito prepared foods and butchered goods since time and memoriam.
Mitch and his competent colleagues are an affable group of guys that are always ready with a smile and to help.
This former carnivore can always find something delicious on the menu, and it’s still the destination when I’m catering to the meat eaters in my life.

Chicken Caesar wrap was delicious and enough and portion was generous. Also got to see some cool product you don’t see anywhere else. Try the espresso soda it’s really good! Staff was also very accommodating. 5/5

Been there once before. Bought stuffed pork chops. They were good but pricey. Saw a lot of nice cooked and uncooked items.Went back today ( Sunday) about 2pm. They are supposed to close at 4. They were 2 customers inside being served. The door was locked. I waited 2 minutes as no one came to let me inside so I split. I don't know what that was about.

The staff/family here are super friendly and helpful! The meats are superior quality you can taste the difference! I don't go anywhere else for meat since I discovered this butcher shop. Five Stars!

Outstanding selection of meats .? Both Mitch and Pete ( butcher's) know their stuff. Have prime steaks , fresh chicken, pork, sausage whatever you need. One stop shopping!Also have a excellent deli department. Always get the ribeye (prime ) Same quality as a 5 star restaurant.Always order prime rib for Christmas Day , never disappoint!

We've been going to Metro Meats forever. Our favorite place to get fresh meats and good cold cuts. Recently we tried their homemade Asiago bread, as well as their Prosciutto bread, with Genoa salami, Provolone cheese, lettuce and tomato, oil and vinegar... OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! There's a reason people travel out of state for this store. The owners are nothing but first class and the employees great. I can't recommend this place enough.

Nothing like Metro Meat Market! We lived in Forest Hills before we moved a year ago and this was our go-to for meat always. Their marinated skirt steak was our favorite by far, although we never had the ribs.They are hospitable and answered all of my questions, even recently when I called from thousands of miles away.We miss this place and hopefully we'll be back one day!

My first time here...the service was fine and the butcher did a great job of slicing and tenderizing the chicken...the higher price than grocery stores was well worth it...I will be happily back.
