Key Food Supermarkets is a great, though super tiny, local market. It is described as being about one-quarter the size of a normal supermarket, but it does an excellent job maximizing its space. The store caters to its local clientele, offering a wide variety of Hispanic products. It has a very tiny produce area with mostly Hispanic preferred items, and all the vegetables and meats purchased are consistently noted as being very fresh and of excellent quality. The supermarket is clean and kept impeccable, though some note it has a strangely slightly dirty vibe that is hard to describe. The aisles are very narrow. For basic items beyond a convenience store, it has it all, carrying just a bit over the basics. Prices are sometimes pricey depending on the product, but most are reasonable, with good deals like ice. The service is consistently praised. The staff and all the people are very friendly, polite, kind, and respectful. The cashiers are kind, and the managers are excellent. Some staff do not speak English, so knowing some Spanish can be helpful. There is a policy where customers must leave bags at the entrance with an employee, and they are returned upon payment. Overall, it is a great market with excellent quality products and very friendly service.
Great and they offer a Veteran Discount which is super rare!
