The E-payment here is kinda outdated, not so much credit card options beside Visa or Mastercard, while signatures are still needed during the e-payment process. Definitely needs an update on that.

I'm a tourist and don't speak Chinese, the saleswoman started yelling at me in Chinese because my debit card wasn't working, and I tried several times and she started yelling why am I taking away my cradit card from this payment machine, despite the fact that I was taking away my card because the machine said “thank you, remove the card”, she still continued to scream and rudely took away the products that I wanted to buy. I went to another store and bought what I needed, and my credit card worked perfectly. I wish this place would fix their payment credit card machines and change the staff to be more calm and friendly.

This supermarket is inside the New World Mall. It has been a long time since I shopped here. This is the first time I used a card to pay, and I was double charged. Came back to get it resolved. They gave me credit for purchases in the store. Some of the cashier's seem to have a bad attitude. I don't normally shop here, but I found that some products I buy can be a little cheaper. However, I still prefer the US 1 Supermarket across the street.

Called them up looking for Dynasty/Three Ladies Jasmine rice and the woman I spoke with was curt and answered my questions with an attitude heavy tone and wasn’t helpful at all.

Around 5:55pm on March 15th, I entered from main st and planned to eat at Daxi Sichuan Cuisine upstairs. When the escalator reached the entrance of the supermarket, I was stopped by a security guard. He very rudely asked me to put the trolley at the entrance of the supermarket. I said in English that I was going upstairs to have dinner, not to go to the supermarket. (The next section of escalator is only about ten meters away from where the security guard intercepted me.) The security guard still blocked the way and took pictures of me with his mobile phone. I immediately told him that what he did was illegal and infringed on my image rights. But he refused to communicate. I called New World Supermarket to complain, but the problem was not resolved. In my ten years in Flushing, this is the first time I encountered a Chinese supermarket employing foreigners to bully Chinese people. Compared to the Great China supermarket I often go to, the security guards are very polite.

Worst supermarket ever! From managers to supermarket staff, they are all uneducated and have no basic sense of service. They are rude and barbaric and abuse customers at will! Once there is a conflict, the backstage staff threatens you like a gangster and it is useless to report it to the police. The rude staff, who are suspected of being employed as illegal immigrants, and who just cursed savagely, immediately hide away, leaving you frozen and unable to say anything. No apology, no sense of service and public relations as a way to open the door for business! A group of primitive, uneducated people at the lowest level traveled across the ocean and came to the United States to serve the public with the primitive tribe's cannibalism and brutal consciousness. They did whatever they wanted in communities with a large number of non-immigrants and Chinese-dominated communities, and bullied most of the Chinese to keep things quiet. habits can only survive in this environment.

Goods are full of choice and checkout service is quite fast. Besides, Jmart takes both food stamps and OTC. Basically, I am very satisfied with this market.
