On January 15th, 2024,around 2:10 PM, I spent over $600 on products at the Home depot store in Flushing Queens NY.. When I was making the payment, a cashier, a 30-40-year-old dark-skinned woman, was very rude and scolded me harshly. She lacked patience and showed particular disrespect towards Asian Americans, all because I forgot to scrush off the store credit pin # and failed to present my driver's license. Many of my friends often complain about their rude attitudes, as if they were immigration officers returning from the Middle East, demanding strict scrutiny! The manager on site just stood by and didn't care, never prioritizing customer respect, only assisting their employees. The customer service at Flushing HD is the worst among large retail stores!

I am home Depot right now at 12:44pm / July 9th flushing queens. I have to purchase hundreds of dollars for tiles but can get any assistance from the sales associates. Everyone is hiding out in aisles or just outright sitting down and have the audacity to say just buy them online! I'm walking out of here now.... customer service sucks big ones!!

Really bad, and consistently so. Can't tell you how many projects began with 'I'll use Home Depot' and ended with 'Whatever, forget it, way too hard' Can't get in touch, when I'm there I can't get help. It's ok cuz they're surrounded on all sides by other businesses that offer similar things I'm usually looking for. I don't think they give a damn one way or another, which is typical. Not good.

Very infuriating experience there on Saturday. Went there to purchase a Ryobi Tool on promotion which included a free tool. All the tools were locked on shelves near the Customer Service Area. There was no sales people around so I went to the service desk and was informed that I needed to find the employee with the key. There is only one and he works at the Hardware area. Why this person cannot be paged is beyond me. After several minutes of searching I found this person and told him what I wanted. He walked over to the shelves, instead of opening the six locks to get the tools this person just stood there and stared and read the promotional banner above the shelves. It took him 5 minutes. Then he proceeded to slowly open the six locks and retrieved the tools I wanted. but instead of handing them over to me he put them in a shopping cart behind him. He then slowly proceeded to put the six locks back on the shelves. At this point I asked if I could just take the tools and continue my shopping and the guy said no and continued putting the locks back on. I asked if I could skip watching him putting locks back on and just take the tools he said it was store policy that whatever he took out he must take them to the cashier even though I have not finished my shopping and if I didn't like it I can talk to management! Is this how Home Depot does business now and is this the way they treat the customers? You can buy these tools on line and shipping is included. At the very least go to a different location. This hardware guy with the key was simply discourteous and rude!

Managers and employees need more training. Pro contractors get treated like garbage here. Can't even find parking since they allow solicitors to take up all the spots for years

Too many DESTRUCTIVE items. 1. I always wrap their foam insulation around our AC for winter. This spring, tried to pull it off, but BLACK GLUE remained. Can't get it off. This has never happened. Clearly, it has been cheaped down, and we were not warned. 2. The mat in our vestibule will not come up. When I pull it, tufts and heavy glue remain attached to our floor. No warning about this either.

I come here to get a refund for 2 items, I have the receipt for both items and debit card I used and this racist Indian guy come telling me I need a ID to do a return. I've returned stuff before at various locations whenever needed and I've never needed a ID. I called the corporate number and they confirmed I should of only been required to have the receipt to get a refund and I'm able to get cash like I wanted if I paid with debit.

Beware of Home Depot OFallon Il. I purchased windows from them with a lifetime warranty. years later I went back to them due to a window crank broke and I was want replacement under the lifetime warrant. They told me they would not help and called the vendor who said that due to the crank was no longer available, we voided the warrant. after this Home Depot was no help. also called there corporate office which also no solution. So now I have a window with a lifetime warranty and a hold in it and no help from Home Depot. So much for there lifetime warranty

Wow this place is bad in terms of customer service. I asked Vonrick in hardware if they carried a particular screw that I was looking for and where would it be located if they had it? Vonrick looked at the screw and muttered, "Your best bet is to look in the aisle?". Are you serious??? I worked at Home Depot while in college (4 years), pointing to a location was never tolerated among our staff. I guess priorities have changed. I will never return here again.

Can't expect much from the service from Home Depot but I just wish they were better people you know. But to speak on positive matters, refilling gas tanks at Home Depot is actually very convenient and cheap ($20) people should all know about this!
