Fast Tax Accounting has been a pleasure to work with. They were able to process my taxes within a two week time frame after I imported all of my paperwork through their portal. They explained my taxes in layman's terms and made me feel comfortable throughout the filing process. I look forward to using their services again next year and recommend them to anyone!

When I first started working, I would give my tax returns to my parents and they would bring it to their accountant. It would take about 3 weeks or so from handing it off to receiving it back to sign before mailing them to the IRS. Yes, it was snail mail back in the days.Fast forward 10 years or so, moving out and buying my own place, I thought it was be best to find my own accountant rather than having to have my parents do it on my behalf. I was introduced to an accountant through a family member, and he was nice but also very inconvenient. I had to get a ride to get to him and all. It wasn't cheap (at that time)And then there was turbo tax. I was like, wow, this is great, I can file my own taxes and it's cheaper. So I started using turbo tax regularly and it was great. Until one year, I was audited. I was embarrassed and had no one to talk to or ask about it. It wasn't a hefty amount but the fact that I was audited, that was not cool. I paid it and continue to use turbo tax, and each year the questions became more and also more complex. Sorry, I don't know finance terms or anything like that. So I answered it to the best of my knowledge. And then one year, I owed money. I was floored, like how? Embarrassed once again but paid it.So then I decided, I need to find a real actual accountant to talk to. I do not want to owe money and I certainly do no know what was wrong with my taxes. I came across Fast Tax Accounting, located in the heart of Flushing and decided to give him a call.I told him how I owed money to the IRS and I did not know why. He reviews my tax returns and he knew right away what I was doing incorrectly. He instructed me how to correct it, and now I am back to getting a refund once again.THANK YOU JIMMY.So if you are in the market for an accountant, I highly recommend giving this place a try. Jimmy is also young, so he will outlive me, so if you are looking for a long term accountant, he's the one.Also, the price for an accountant wasn't much more than what I was paying using turbo tax. I rather pay the extra to avoid mistakes and the headache of trying to answer all those questions.

I almost used turbo tax to file my taxes for 2021, fortunately a family friend recommended Jimmy! He is very efficient and undoubtedly helpful. He took his time to answer my questions and actually explained the important parts. Will be using him for 2022 taxes!!!

My husband and I were looking for an accountant to start filing our taxes together. I found Jimmy through Yelp and after thoroughly researching, I called Jimmy and asked if he was taking new clients. I called really late in the tax season (end of March) and he was super friendly and kind and able to do our taxes.My husband’s taxes are a big complicated but Jimmy was knowledgeable and finished our taxes the same day. Although I didn’t meet Jimmy in person, my husband told me he was great and decided that we will start using Jimmy as our new accountant going forward
