We chose this location because of its convenient proximity to the airport. However, this location does not have good sound insulation. Expect to be woken up by airplanes when the curfew ends at LGA at 6 am, especially if your room is on the west side of the building. If this is not a dealbreaker, it is an otherwise OK hotel, and clean for the most part. We were expecting a little better out of a Marriott property though. Bath linens are worn out beyond their useful life and are thin, pilly, and abrasive. Bed and bed linens were comfortable though. Unfortunately, due to the thin walls of the building making the sounds of jet engines quite audible when we would otherwise like to be sleeping in, we will not choose this property again in the future.

Expensive, but it's New York. You must call the shuttle once you arrive at LaGuardia and it takes about 20 minutes to arrive, as it's not as close to the airport as the other airport hotels. The rooms were comfortable, but the fridge was dirty. Free breakfast, but was overrun by a bus of rude college athletes and hard to get any food. There were non-dairy milks available as a plus and a large selection of carbs mostly and no vegan protein sources. There is a small gym on the first floor with two cardio machines and dumbbells up to about 45 pounds.Rooms: Average. Medium to soft bed, bathroom with shower/tub combination.Nearby activities: Nothing nearby, no vegan restaurants for milesFood & drinks: Free breakfast, but so busy hard to get any food

Tiffany was amazing. She is a wonderful person to guide you through everything from explaining the shuttle service to how to navigate NYC. The hotel was excellent. It was clean, super convenient with everything a person needs. It’s not fancy, but it does everything that the hotel should do at 100%! Thank you and I will definitely come here again.

I usually stay in manhattan but decided to try sorting different on this visit and I’m glad I did. Still within 20 minutes of everything I needed to get to, and the rooms , staff, and my overall stay was great. Will definitely return!

Very unassuming hotel but don't let that fool you! Antonio and Raphael (shuttle drivers) were prompt and courteous, front reception was welcoming and Tamika at breakfast was so sweet and friendly. Our rooms were clean, the water was plentiful and hot, the shower drain was in perfect working condition, the room ac unit was efficient and breakfast was well stocked! We ordered dinner to be delivered and the hotel staff encouraged us to enjoy the breakfast dining room! Thank you for a wonderful stay before our cruise!!

The hotel is situated about 15mins from the airport so its close enough. Shuttle service is provided but you have to call for pick up on arrival and wait. The check-in area is small but the front desk works fast. Team is courteous and friendly.Complimentary breakfast is available and though the choices r limited and menu pretty much same everyday this is ok and consistent with a lower budget hotel of this type.Rooms are clean and I get the sense that being an "inn" you have to request room clean up and coffee/tea valet refresh daily if you want it.Downside is that this no invite restaurant so you have to eat out or order in. Also there are not really any nice restaurants within walking distance.Overall, place for business travellers or overnighters. Good value and service.

Needed an overnight stay near the airport at a reasonable price. This was about $420 with parking. Not what I'd expect from a Marriot though.Had a good prison Vibe -- Tiny lobby walled in with elevated and plexiglassed off reservations desk. Associates were masked up and definitely smiling behind their masks. It was secure, the rooms were dark and had older furnishings. I did not try the breakfast which was in a small alcove opposite the reception desk. And the stay was the only Marriot stay this year that didn't get posted to my Bonvoy account.

Room was clean but small. We were in a king sized bed room, pretty tight for my husband and I. But only there for one night to be close to the airport. Short distance from airport which was nice. Older looking hotel. Staff was extremely friendly and courteous!

Stayed here before our vacation and flying out of LaGuardia Airport. Staff were extremely friendly and the breakfast is like most other hotels. The hotel shuttle to the airport was easy and quick. While the rooms are on the small size, the elevator is a little slow, and you do hear planes landing and taking off, it's right near an airport and to me, expected. Though parking is also limited, our car was right on the street there for a week and there were no issues. Having the NYC police academy right across the street probably doesn't hurt for that. I would recommend this for anyone flying in and out of LaGuardia.

Terrible experience all because I booked through my credit card. Got to LGA from my home state, reached the shuttle area and called the hotel only to be told that the room is not available because they have oversold the hotel for the night and are cancelling 3rd party reservations to accommodate others. The guy on the phone told us he cannot help us anymore, not even to rebook at a family property. We had a 14 month old with us and were basically hung out to dry. These are not the kind of people you want to trust with your money, maybe not your life. Book rooms here at your own risk.

Had to have an unplanned layover at LaGuardia. Booked this with a few mins notice. Hotel was in a cruddy part of town. Rooms were old but ok. The lobby is almost nonexistent. Breakfast was bland but not awful. The big issue was the proximity to the airport. We checked in at 2am as our flight into LaGuardia was delayed. We had a flight from JFK the next afternoon, so I thought we'd sleep in. This hotel is right next to a runway so at 6am we were awakened with the thunderous roar of jet engines.

First off I think the rate I paid was a fantastic deal for summer time in New York.We were able to have someone pick us up from the airport. I love that our shuttle driver called to confirm that he was on his way and where we should go to meet him. We got there early and we were able to drop off our luggage so we could go eat. The Q65 bus picks up right outside the hotel and will bring you into Chinatown where you can get something to eat or transfer to the 7 train to Manhattan. The transfer from bus to train is even free if you use your MetroCard or tap your card/phone to the scanner. The actual facility seems smaller compared to other Marriott/Fairfield properties I've been to but you most likely are not in NY to stay in the hotel all day. The room is also smaller but still big enough that it doesn't feel cramped if you have a lot of people. It feels like it was some other hotel before and Marriott took it over. The TV is a pretty good size and also has a subscription to Showtime with TV shows and movies included free with your stay. The beds were super comfortable. The area and atmosphere felt very safe and laid back. There's not much around the hotel other than the police academy.Breakfast was really good. I like that they allow you to grab something to eat and you can take it to your room or take it outside the hotel. You're not confined to only eating in the breakfast area. I really liked the egg and ham sandwich, the sausage biscuit was also really good. They also have a bar where you can add toppings for your oatmeal and cereal. The waffle maker also made delicious waffles. There's a juice machine where you have a selection of different juices to pick from and an area for hot water/tea and coffee.Overall I really enjoyed our time here. Very reasonable rate for what you get. It's close to the airport and they will pick you up and drop you off upon request. If you want to go to Manhattan it's a little bit of a commute but it's not too difficult. A very good comfy bed if you want a good night's rest before or after your flight.Rooms: Smaller room than what I'm used to from Marriott but it wasn't cramped. Very clean and the beds were super comfy.Nearby activities: It's close to the stadium if you want to watch a baseball game.Safety: There's really not much going on around the hotel so there isn't many people loitering around. Usually seemed like it was only guests of the hotel around the area. The police academy is also across the street, though I'm not sure they can do much of something were to happen. It did make it feel safer though.Walkability: Not much within walking distance other than the bus. You can use it to get to Chinatown or transfer to a train to Manhattan.Food & drinks: Delicious grab and go breakfast service right below the lobby. You can take the bus right outside the hotel into Chinatown for some really good lunch and dinner.
