The owner of the shop is an old Italian man who will try to overcharge you and fleece you at every opportunity. I live next door but get my car serviced at Prela Auto half a mile away because I would never bring my car back to Lou’s again.

I had read some negative reviews of this service, but I had an emergency. I had banged into something and had damage to one of my tires and tire frames.One of the mechanics, Nick, was fabulous. I needed several parts and he got them all pretty quickly and fixed my car. He even dove it around the block several times to see if the wheel alignment was fine.As a matter of fact, he had heard a sound that I was hearing for months and never got it fixed. He knew what it was and fixed it without a chargeWe all know that mechanics are expensive and this was no different, but he was nice and pilot and knew what he was talking about and that's what I care about most

Go here if you want to get scammed. They ruined my car even more and I ended up fixing it with someone else. They even tried charging me even though they messed up my car battery.

These guys are very dishonest. They wanted to replace my rotors and do a complete brake job ($460) when all that was required was a ($17) brake sensor. Took the car to nearby Pep boys and they cost $40 total.

Very nice mechanics and open Saturdays a plus !!Shop has a snack shop and waiting area. Owner friendly and courteous.

This gas station is committing fraud by taking elderly people’s credit cards or debit cards and then using them all over again this happened to my mother on October 28 she went in for gas she goes to that station every week she even gets repairs done there and the gentleman took her card walked away came back and after she left the gas station another gas transaction was put on her debit card and also then at 6:48 and evening almost 140 990 something was charged to her card for it from from a company in Missouri anybody who has elderly parents and should be aware of this. They are stealing from them

I started go there for gas and car service since I moved to the bayside 3 years ago. Never had any bad experiences until today. There was a nail in my tire. I stoped by this morning. The guy told me 10 mins or less will get it fixed. Then he said he needs SPECIAL TOOLS to take off my tire, and come back next day. Then he charged 10 dollars just because he put air. It doesn’t make any sense because I went to other tire shop near my job, they fixed without any special tools. Get the job done less than 15 mins, with my wheels balanced. Only Charged $15!
