had a horrible customer service experience with a middle age korean lady. she had a passive aggressive attitude the whole time she spoke with me. it was jarring since i was having a good day until she opened her mouth and treated me like i was suspicious little gremlin. i rarely write reviews. i want to make it clear that all i did was take 3? minutes to find my ID. jeez.

This is my neighborhood chase and it's by far one of the worst chase branches I had to ever deal with. I usually have documents needed to be notarized but it seems every time you mention notary in this establishment, your wait becomes 40 minutes or longer. This chase branch is never as busy as it may seem and the person who does the notary seems as if you are bothering her with something that apart of chase's services. The wait times here are always long and the service reps dont seem to care unless your opening a new chase account. I really hope corporate reads comments like these because it pushes values customers away.

Pros (1) Street parking available. Enough said. Cons (1) ATMs don't take deposits when the bank is closed. (2) Tellers are slow as hell when the bank is open.

Maybe the 5 star reviews of this location is based on a chinese representative since they're all in Chinese. Well, my experience was less than 1 star and it was with a korean representative, Gina Cho. My elderly parents needed bilingual services, which is why they went out of their way to visit this branch. They just wanted their statements printed out and she made the process more difficult and cumbersome than it needed to be. I was put on the phone with her by my parents and personally have never been so offended and felt so dismissed by a bank staff member. At the end of the ordeal, my parents did not get what they asked for and left. I called the bank branch back to complain to the manager Shelly. She didn't take my word for the bad customer service experience we had but offered to help my parents if they returned to the branch. While I'm glad that my parents are getting their statements printed out, it should not have been this difficult and upsetting when this branch is staffed with bilingual employees specifically to make their banking experience easier. I will be following up with the corporate office on this experience so that the Korean rep Gina Cho can be re-trained in how to provide customer service or so that there can be a replacement for the benefit of the Chase bank and for their clients that frequent this location. Also, I'm not writing this review based on one experience with her, but every single experience we've had with her at this branch has nothing been horrible, over the past 5 years.

This Chase bank doesn't have a private parking lot like a couple of others around the area, but it's well maintained and the staff has generally been friendly and helpful up to what they're allowed to do (I mean people generally bank with Chase because they have the most convenient locations in NYC, not necessarily because they have the most consumer-friendly policies and rates). With that said, this branch almost feels like a local bank. And luckily for me, it's within walking distance. When I'm out driving, I sometimes go to another branch with a parking lot, but customer service doesn't seem as consistent or as willing to help elsewhere. I think pretty soon, the tellers may sadly be getting replaced with machines in the other locations, but hopefully this branch will be kept intact.

Nice Chase Bank branch conveniently located for the many businesses along this Northern Boulevard 164th Street area. The ATMs were conveniently located directly to the left as you enter the bank. There are also a set of sliding glass doors that can be extended at night. Creating 24 24-hour ATM access . In front of you( as you enter) .. is a kiosk where young lady can direct you to whatever else you might need. There is also a large somewhat luxurious customer waiting area. The main teller area is located down a few steps in a separate area to the right . Neat setup for Chase Bank will return. PS.. You have to pay the meter for parking 1 hour limit $1 Jim D.
