It’s pretty boring they just keep giving us the same games and expect us to enjoy it. Not only that but the gym is usually only basketball so if you play other sports it sucks cause people takeover the gym with basketball. Most of the staff is chill they don’t target anyone. But there are people who take this job too seriously while they only get paid 18 an hour it’s like they take out their stress on everyone. Honestly if you like only swimming and basketball then I guess this is for you but if you like anything else you’re gonna get bored

I took my sister to swimming classes here over the summer, and she really enjoyed it! They offered us two free classes. My sister worked 1 on 1 with her coach (i cant recall her name at the moment, but when I do, ill update this review). She is a lot more confident now and we cant wait to book more classes for the summer.

Hi folks welcome to The local Abbe Flushing Boys Club. With a history of serving our neighborhood, this Boys Club was a great choice for our early poling place. This election year of 2020 carries an importance that I've not seen before in my life. My grandmother would tell us stories of her involvement with the Suffragette movement in the early 1900's. Women did not always have the right to vote. Voting equality was so important to my Grandma. She would tell us stories that would cry of their bravery and courage. So brave, my little grandma.. in the face of oppression and brutality. To honor the sacrifices of many, I have always realized my greater responsibility in voting. Having conducted advance recognizance here a few weeks previously, I knew this was indeed my early voting spot, and how to get here. Walking the few miles to vote this morning, was a personal experience as well. After a little while, I felt my mother and grandmother walking alongside with me. Then, I felt that my whole family was walking with me together. As I walked. I felt like I was seeing through all their eyes.. like looking through a chain of endless mirrors. Stretching back through all my family's dreams for love and equality for everyone. I had to stop a moment and realize their love and what was happening. It was beautiful and emotional ... The experience inspired me to vote today no matter what. I arrived at 9 am today for 12 pm opening. I was #2 on the line. Getting some advance info from security and poling workers, I knew the situation before walking in. Of course I had already peeked inside. I was all ready to vote and help folks with info. Grandpa and Grandma were married on election day. They would both dress up in their finest wedding outfits and go vote each year. As I grew, I understood why it was so important to vote ..and that our American rights can be taken away if we're not watching.

The Boys Club is a great alternative for any boy age 6 to 18. It's 5 dollar fee is cheap enough to keep you coming but as a parent you need to decide if you want your kids to stick around. Only thing is there are a lot of other kids here and kids will be kids. As a kid that went here, I have to say I grew up here and I am glad I did.
