Alex is the most knowledgeable pharmacist I've come across. He give you the time to explain things, if I call him he always answers any question I have. The women who works there is also know nice. She knows me by my name so does Alex. Local business need to be supported as a community. Never have to wait on a Long line or have to feel rushed when picking up any medications. Ample parking, quality service.

I will never go anywhere else! Alex is extremely knowledgeable and ALWAYS goes the extra mile, whether its explaining things, or finding resources on how to pay less for expensive medications. I am blown away by his attention to detail, his soft spoken manner and his customer focus! Thank you for opening and staying local, what an asset to our community. GO LOCAL!

I got both my vaccine (mid 2021) and booster here (early 2022). I was happy with Alex the pharmacist. The other day (a Saturday), I went in for a PCR test. I was told that I'd get my results the next day in an email from the lab my sample gets sent to. Turns out, the lab is closed on Sundays. There's no way Alex didn't know that. I called the lab today (Tuesday) and they still don't have my sample because they use UPS and it could take a few business days. Alex should have been honest and said it could take a few days, If I had known that, I would have gone to a big-name pharmacy to get results same day. I won't be coming here anymore.

Great local pharmacy. I recently took my parents there to get their COVID booster shots and Alex was very nice. My parents were happy with their experience there.

This place is a hidden gem. Avail/BC may not be part of a huge corporate chain or a large store, but don't think because of that it is lacking; the store is highly organized, and instead of stocking the same kind of item from 10 suppliers like a chain, the store manager simply obtains their inventory from the best brands. Because of this, there is no redundancy in what they have for sale and even carry things that you cannot find in large chains. Their pricing is better than both large pharma chains and amazon. Alex the owner and pharmacist knows regulars by name and is friendly, but never to the point you feel overwhelmed. He attaches detailed info sheets to each prescription, and takes his time to explain how certain medications work, the best time to take them, what to avoid when taking said medication, common side effects, and more. Switching from a large chain to Avail/BC Pharmacy has made picking up medications feel like less of a chore and is a decision I am very proud of. When you choose Avail/BC as your dispensary, you are supporting an amazing small business and a passion.

You know those places where you walk in and everyone knows your name? That's how this pharmacy makes me feel. There's a small town feel here that you don't get from those big box store. From the very first day, I felt welcomed. The pharmacist Alex is friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Absolutely the best. Shop Local!

This pharmacy is the best! Alex the owner is so kind and very helpful. I love that I can pull up and they will bring my prescription curbside so I don't have to park and bring my toddler in.

Bowne chemists is a lovely pharmacy, well stocked and nicely organized. In addition, Alex the main pharmacist is just the best. He is sweet, knowledgeable and compassionate to whatever medical situation you are dealing with. He is always ready to help you by answering any questions and helping you find the best deals for your medications. Bowne Chemists pharmacy has been a great addition to our neighborhood. I have stopped using the big pharmacies in the area and now only go to Bowne chemist. Its really nice to have a more personal experience and relationship with your pharmacist, he always takes time to ask about the kids, remembers your name and you can tell he really cares about your health. You feel very comfortable talking to him and asking questions. I would highly recommend them if your in the area. Forget rite aid or CVS, get the one on one experience with your pharmacist and come support this local business. I really enjoy having a pharmacist who knows me by name, greeting me with big smiles as I come in the door, knows my family and genuinely cares for all our health needs, wouldn't you? Also the teas, and handmade natural beauty products they sell are fabulous I recommend you try those too.
