Thieves Emiliano puts the inept Honduran to collect and they do a bad job. I paid almost $2300 to change the water pump and change the thermostat and they gave it a $40 one not even 12 days later and it was damaged again. Tembo thieves

These guys have rebuilt my transmission and then serviced my Dodge Dakota maybe 3-4 times since over the last 6-7 years and I've always walked(driven) away knowing I was in good hands there.

Car: 2013 Toyota Highlander with 200+ k miles.Nice and trustworthy (definitely at first); plugged diagnostic computer in and described issue to my father and I. However, they failed to fix the issue and whats worse, severely prolonged the torture of the repair: it took roughly 19 days before we finally threw in the towel, asked for our money back (got only a portion of it) and took the vehicle to correct personnel at another location for repair where a new transmission was bought because the one my father had was now not functioning at all. Essentially, they broke the functioning transmission our car had. I would not recommend this place unless you are willing to risk;(a) the health of the vehicle(b) an undetermined amount of time for them to figure it out and fix the issue through trial and error.Below is a more thorough breakdown of events;Prior to going to repair shop, Car ONLY had check engine light. No physical symptoms. Communicated that will need the vehicle back ASAP; promised vehicle to be fixed within a week. Went without car for 19 days.12/29/2017 Evaluation done; determined need for change of all gears and solenoids. drop off car said to be done by Tuesday 1/2/2018. asked for deposit, $600 (cash) was finally agreed upon. car when lifting car, they broke running board.1/2/2018 Car was not ready. said to be ready by Wednesday 1/31/3/2018 Car was tested on 1/3/2018, said to be good. remaining $1600 was paid for service. Car made it to JFK an gave out; only 1st gear was operable but even that was intermittent and slipping1/4/2018 brought back car; evaluated and said they will need to put in new pistons inside valve body. Said to pick up on Saturday 1/6/2018.1/6/2018 car was picked up; made it to JFK then to Manhattan. In manhattan the car broke down. once again, 1st gears was operable but intermittent and slipping.1/8/2018 Shop opened; brought back car. Evaluation was performed, suggested to order a new transmission. Stated that it will come from trusted source; that it will be a rebuild unit.1/12/2018 transmission was delivered1/13/2018 Car was ready. Picked up car. Went to JFK then to manhattan made it back to JFK and broke down again. same symptoms as above: only 1st gears was operable but intermittent and slipping.1/15/2018 car was brought back. Martin Luther King Day; no one else was open.- mechanic contacted the transmission dealer for aid; dealer suggested changing oil and filter. Suggested was performed; oil had an extremely foul odor and filter was very dirty. car was given back.car made it about 10 blocks then broke down. car was brought back and dropped off.- original transmission was put back. again car was not working.- brought back to shop. asked for money back.1/16/2018 asked for money back. got $1500 back, went to another place.

this guy is an impostor. he will talk to you very nice and will avoid confrontation at all costs. This is his way of hiding his real character. He is a master manipulator. His goal is to run you dry of your money and if possible, do nothing. He will start by placing a bad filter and/or fluid in your transmission. This will ensure total transmission failure. he will then say that you also need to replace the valve body. ofcourse since he already toasted your transmission in the first place you will be back again soon, he will then say that your transmission was bad in the first place and replace it...at this point you don't have an option as where ever you go, it will cost you the same.
This is an organized plan that he follows with all customers. if you experience this behavior, please post a review and we can find other people and create a group complain with the city. This guy is an impostor and should not be allowed to own and operate a repair shop.
