Great customer service, I just wish that they’d stay faithful to the schedule of when they say that they are open. I like coming to this place because of the owner, he’s a great dude. Just wish that they are more clear on when they actually open

Amazing delicious food, the owner is kind and takes notice to detail. They offer halal options and their prices are great. Anything you need from breakfast to dinner and whatever in between. I’m definitely a regular now!

They don’t do quarter pounds of deli meat.. Weird. Never seen that in any NYC deli. Almost positive they were doing something with the scale once shady too, like to increase the price/weight. Don’t accept EBT anymore so I’m sure there’s a backstory behind that.. there are better deli’s in the area. Sad that actual good and halal delis are just so scarce.

The hero sandwiches are fantastic. My wife and I were visiting New York and made it a goal to sample as much of the local food, especially from the delis. We tried 3 of the hero sandwiches on the menu. Not one of the disappointed. They were packed with flavor, very filling, and for a great price. We tried other sandwiches from a bar/sandwich shop on Rivington St. and those sandwiches fell far below the standard set by American Flag Deli. American's Flag's sandwiches were less expensive and much more satisfying and filling. They weren't dry and all the ingredients came together in the perfect combination. They didn't lack flavor. I can't say the same for the other sandwiches from the bar/sandwich place. If you're in Flushing N.Y. , look up American Flag Deli. It'll be worth the trip and the man running it, who also makes the sandwiches, is really nice and welcoming.

Some of the foods are expired! I bought 2 packets of beef jerky and both were expired 10 days ago! Am going to stay away from the place .

Best halal cold cut sandwiches!! Wonderful, friendly and caring service. We love getting the turkey sandwiches and the chicken cutlet sandwiches, so fresh and delicious!

Zabiha halal unlike most "Halal" delis. Lots of options. The chopped cheese is above average. The customer service is great.
