If you really want the best care for your pets then I would never go anywhere else , the employees and doctors here are truly the most considerate and great people. They always work with me to get me an appointment as soon as possible and they always do a great job with my pets. The young lady Veronica is the best she’s always helped me and has always made sure I was okay even after my appointment when I haven’t received the best of news she makes sure to explain every detail and ask how me or my pet is doing and usually businesses don’t care and that means a lot when things don’t turn out the best for your pet. Dr Thomas is amazing at his job. If you want people who care and are really good at there job then this is the place to go. Thank you to the doctor and employees here for always taking care of my pets like they were there own.

Absolutely horrible! I recommended this place to my mother and her cat (family pet) because this is where I take my dog. (Not anymore) My mother went in for her first visit (consultation) they checked out our cat and told my mother our cat needed tests and bloodwork done. Ok no problem, we agreed. My mom explained to them how he wasn’t eating for days and not acting like him self. They sent my mom home with medication for the cat. It did not work and how can you prescribe pills if the cat is not eating. (Not even liquid medicine) My mom called to get some answers from the tests and bloodwork taken prior, they didn’t really explain what was going on and told my mother the cat needs more bloodwork done. My mother did the second set of bloodwork for our cat. They still didn’t have an answer for her. I now decided to call because I feel like they were just giving my mom a run around. Dr. Banner definitely could have explained the results way better or in an easier manner. (Especially for the elderly) I personally spoke to the Dr. Banner and at this point she basically did the same to me. I then asked her if she could break it down in easier terms. She replied “Let me get someone on the phone to further explain this to you.” I felt like that was extremely unprofessional due to the fact that she is the doctor. You want your patients to trust you or to at least feel comfortable when leaving their pets health in your hands. She then says our next move would be to get a CT (cat scan) or Sonogram to further see what’s going on. My mother already spent 1,300$ for tests and bloodwork. She still didn’t get any help or answers. Now the office wants an additional 500$-1,000$ (our choice) for more tests. We are not receiving any help at this point ! We still didn’t receive any answers but they had no problem wanting to charge more money. At this point I felt so bad for my mom and she was extremely heartbroken and helpless. I then called the other office to see what was going on with our next step. Receptionist Veronica (super rude) told me that my moms cat has a huge mass. I was completely shocked because nobody informed me or my mother about this information. That’s extremely unprofessional. How do you not share that kind of information with the pets family. Why keep charging us money but give no answers to what’s going on with our sick pet. At this point I was frustrated too. Our cat didn’t deserve this. At this point, I did my own due diligence and I was able to find the most AMAZING veterinarian in queens. They actually apologized to us for all the torture we endured (especially our cat) and money that was spent. We definitely got the answers we needed. We received the right medication (a liquid form) and our cat finally ate (so happy about that) and most importantly we got the clarity needed. Our pets are so important they are our family. Please if you love your family (pets) do not bring them here. I decided to also take my dog out of this horrible clinic. I received all her medical history and I couldn’t be happier with the veterinary doctor I have now. (My mother as well) They are also located in Queens. Please anyone feel free to write me if your looking for a new veterinarian doctor/office. Please if you love your pets do not bring them to AMINAL CLINIC METROPOLITAN this place is horrible.
They only care for the money !!!!!

Would love to be able to review this place but both of my interactions have been horrendous. Whoever is at the front desk communicates exclusively in a belittling manner and twice I've left in disbelief before I could be serviced. It's upsetting and rude.

I really love the vet here, however, considering the fact that they charge the same prices as everywhere else, they should really clean the office. It is so filthy and unkept it’s almost embarrassing on their part to be taking people in there. You guys seriously have to hire someone to clean the space, in comparison to other offices this is atrocious.

The front desk gals here are really wonderful. I really appreciate all of them for helping me get unfortunately 2 last minute emergency appointments this month. Everytime I called whoever I spoke to was extremely helpful, understanding, and friendly. It is very hard to find good front office staff and I hope this clinic knows that they have a solid team. Dr Kwasnik is wonderful. He is very friendly, honest, and is an experienced vet. I'm very grateful for how he took care of my pitty who had a UTI, followed by colitis. He is reasonable and seems to genuinely care about the well being of your pet. We have recently moved to the neighborhood and I plan on sticking with Dr Kwasnik. Highly recommended.

Dr. KWAZNICK is sorely missed. I'd stay for the current Doc but the 1 staff member is the nastiest person to talk to at the desk. People like that make businesses lose customers. Like me.

I never leave reviews but this time I had to. Stay away from Dr. Thomas, he is rude, not at all gentle or caring plus he gave my cat an injection without even telling me, I had to ask him what he was doing when I saw him stick a needle in her! I was then charged 64 dollars for it when I didn’t even consent to it!!!! Don’t put your pet through this.

My first and only visit with this vet could have been better for sure. Took my dog for his vaccinations for an upcoming grooming appointment. When my dog was returned they said they had to cut some his hair on butt area because he had pooped. When my bill was higher I asked why, I was told I needed a $45 spray for his shaved area. I had not even been asked if I wanted it. I unfortunately did not look at my dogs butt until I got home. They had shaved him so closely than his butt was bright red and very irritated. I was so upset, my dog was in great discomfort for 2 days. I called them and left one message with their service and another with staff. I was told a manager would call me back. No one ever called me back! Not only had they hurt my dog they don't tell me but feel fine to bill me $45 for a spray. Such incredibly poor communication, and lack of concern for my dog. No apologies of any kind and they expected me to buy the spray. One time was enough for us.

Review is for Dr Kwasnik, as that’s the only veterinarian I’ve been receiving services from at this clinic. He is not only an amazing professional, but also a caring and compassionate human being. I would not trust anyone else with my cats. When one of my cats was only a kitten, during a routine check-up Dr Kwasnik informed us he appears to be suffering from heart defects and that we should cherish the time we have with him, as it may not be long. As difficult as it was to hear, we were grateful, since it gave us time to prepare for the inevitable. The cat was seen by another vet once afterwards, when Dr Kwasnik was unavailable, whom find nothing wrong- however it was Dr Kwasnik’s life prognosis for my cat that turned out to be true. Dr Kwasnik has provided us with an exceptional care all throughout my cat’s 10 year-short lifespan, especially towards the end. Dr. Kwasnik is that kind of a doctor, who won’t hesitate to give you a late call to check on the patient or squeeze a last minute appointment when emergency happens. He will work with you to come up with a best treatment plan for what you can afford. The only negative aspect of visiting a great specialist is that they are so often overbooked and Dr Kwasnik is no different in this matter. Therefore, be prepared to wait, as most likely you won’t be seen at the exact time of your appointment. Other than that, I highly recommend Dr Kwasnik!
