“I want to express my great gratitude to the lady clerk who helped us prepare passport documents yesterday! Thank you very much for your patience and cooperation. She took some extra time to explain us the steps, we went through third party “rush passport”. Clerk explained us step by step what we should do and how to do it. “Went there to submit a passport application. I drove all the way from Brooklyn because the reviews said this was the best post office to go to for passports. And they were right. The ladies were quick and helpful. They took my passport photo and had me out of there in less than 30 minutes. Basically the opposite of every Post Office experience I've ever had before.”

“Came here on a wing and a prayer to get passports for my children. I noticed a sign stating they were short staffed and were not processing any passports today. I decided to take a chance and ask. I was in luck. Marion told me he could help but he has to take care of the packages and mail first. And if I didn't mind waiting a bit he could help me. I was so appreciative. He was patient and kind. I'm so happy he was able to help us. Great customer service!”
“I love the staff like family and 5 stars aren't enough. I wish people would realize how difficult the year has been for the workers and appreciate their dedication to our community. From October through December they deal with an incredible number of packages. In January they are extremely busy shipping Holiday returns but... in 2020, the pandemic hit and online orders skyrocketed causing them to work at a holiday pace ALL YEAR LONG! Some patrons complain when they show up and the doors are closed but that's only when they are short staffed and the only workers use the time for the lunch break they are entitled to. There's always a sign letting you know what time the doors will open again. If you show up, share a smile and a word of encouragement. They're wonderful people with friendly personalities.”
“This branch has the best workers. My only compliant is that it gets a little too chaotic and disorganized, especially on a Saturday. It is a small space so between the passports and regular mail activities no one knows where to go. This branch would highly benefit from a kiosk.”

“This was my first time to go to the post office to send express delivery. After queuing for about 5 minutes, it was my turn. I was a little nervous because I only knew a few simple words in English, but the staff who received me was very patient and carefully told me to pay attention. “I come to drop off packages every once in a while and have had good experiences. My packages arrive to the destination around 3 days after drop off so very standard and professional. The post office is small, but the clerks work very fast to accommodate everyone. I haven't had any issues so far. They have been lovely so far.”
“Eddie helped me with my children’s passports and he made the entire process so easy. He answered questions about the paperwork and was knowledgeable about a unique situation we were dealing with. He was meticulous but everything was done quickly and perfectly. My daughter is 2 1/2 and my son is 7 months, they were both having a bad day because a lot had gone wrong, but Eddie made it brighter. He was extremely kind and patient with my both of them. In my opinion, Eddie is worth more than 5 stars.”

“Not bad can get most things done at this mini branch. Beware the hours though. It says 815 am but the building doesn't open to the public until 8:30am and then the office itself closes at 845am for mail sorting for a few hours. You only have like 15 min in the am hours to actually use it.”

“Ms Raj and Soo was so sweet and efficient with my passport process. I filled wrong form and she was so kind to guide me through. Asked me questions patiently so she can figure out what I need and was so patient. Godbless!As I was exiting I hear a customer talking rudely to ms raj, I can see why some might have bad experience. Be nice to the staff and they will be nice and go above and beyond for you! They do accept debit cards for passport services. Thank you ms raj and Soo for your service at great neck post office! I appreciate it!”

“It's really sad when you see the USPS places get such low ratings. I get both sides of the coin. There are some folks working in other postal offices who are not cut out for customer service jobs.At the Glen Oaks postal office, they have the highest rating I would gather anywhere in Queens. The employees here are amazing. They work so hard and are polite.Just make sure you do your part as a customer following the rules and the transaction should go through easy.Keep up the fantastic work, Glen Oaks postal service!”
