“Jackie and Frank were the best hosts! Our family had such a great time at the Gateway! We highly recommend staying here when visiting the Catskills. The location was great and right across the street from Belleayre! It was the perfect snowboarding getaway. The place itself was so cozy and especially warm with the lit fireplace. The food was also amazing, we were sad to leave and not be able to enjoy their breakfasts everyday. Can’t wait till we can come back and stay longer the next time around.”
“This is my family’s favorite mountain. Small enough so that nobody gets lost.There are trails for EVERY ability. Everyone is so positive, happy and courteous. I feel like my mood is always better when I’m there.The best part, even on the busiest days, there are no lines more than 2 minutes for the lifts.The lodge gets busy during lunchtime, but there is always enough room.The lodge is great, the fire inside is always roaring during the winter and the bar has great cocktails.Their ski school, headed by Ralph (who is a gentleman) is always accommodating. They take their time to teach every person, whether it’s on a group or personal lessons. My kids LOVE the junior ski program and are thinking about the race program. They are excited every weekend to get up (EARLY) and go.All of this at prices less than the big mountains around here.It’s totally worth the 2 hour drive for us each weekend. Can’t wait for the weekends here!”

“THE MOST BEAUTIFUL & UNIQUE VENUE! We really wanted to find a place that was as special and unique as our love and Spillian is the spot. Once we found it we knew we wanted to have our wedding there. We got married in November here and it was all the elements we wanted. It is an absolute Catskills gem and really gives you the ability to create your own special celebration. We were able to implement so many special details (family recipes by chef Christian) as well as bonfire and special ceremony. The staff and owners Leigh and Mark are such wonderful people, and truly care about your story and your experience. We are so grateful for this beautiful and magical place!!!!!! We love you Spillian!”
