For some reason all my pay checks have been delayed for over a month. And just recently I found out there was some type of joint account underneath my account. Not cool. I’m switching banks. I can hardly log into my M&T account staff is okay. How ever do not appreciate the delayed services. It’s my money ……I need it when I deposit. Not 2 weeks later.

I definitely would not recommend using M&T bank or james Ciallela for anything unless your trying to waste time and money. He was always unresponsive and unhelpful when I needed advice or assistance. The process of getting a loan through M&T Bank was very time-consuming and a horrible experience over all. James was never around when I had questions or needed support, and often ignored my emails. After about about 2 months of filing documents and paying fees the loan was denied for something I informed james and M&T bank about before we started the loan process, which they told me wouldn’t cause any problems acquiring the loan. I would not recommend James Ciallela or M&T Bank for any type of loan.

I had a issue closing my account from a different state. Mr. Vernon was very understanding, was very professional and took his time to correct the issue and after quite a few weeks of tussle, closed the account and made me a happier individual. At first I was very upset and very hard to deal with but Mr. Vernon is the go to guy. He saved the day and my sanity. Otherwise Its a great local bank. Thank you all. Hope this helps.

My father in law died and I haven't been able to get the branch manger, Mike, to help me. I have called for the past week and no one has called me back. Vernon who I originally talked to was unhelpful and not compassionate. I live out of town so will have to travel 10 hours to come in for help. I highly recommend anyone considering this branch to HOPE that no one dies in their family. This is the worst service I have ever gotten from a bank.

I have been dealing with this bank for many, many years and find that the staff are courteous, friendly and efficient. I have never had any problems. Great bank.

It has to be the worst bank I have ever been to They really don't care about any kind of reputation all I asked for is something saying I had an account there even though I had an account there for 6 months or more they couldn't give me something saying that

I'm only giving them one star b/c the staff at the bank is great. NOT the bank itself! A few months ago, they lost a check I had deposited in their ATM. I went in, they gave me a credit, and updated my contact info to include e mail. A few weeks later, they decide to pull the credit, resulting in a $2 overdraft. Instead of calling or e mailing. they snail mailed this info. So it was already too late when I received it. Then they proceeded to add charges to the $2, now they have collection companies calling me?

I have been a customer for many many years. The service is exceptional. Every employee in the branch has always been very accommodating and has shown appreciation for my business each time I enter the branch. Customer service is a priority to me and this branch sincerely delivers the best.

The staff was VERY NASTY and rude and the bank manager is very nasty and rude. The so called service is deplorable and they have the police on speed dial. Really weird and dangerous place.

To me, most financial institution branches are cookie cutter-esque. What sets this M&T branch apart from others that I've frequented is the wonderful customer service that I consistently receive while banking inside. It more than makes up for the somewhat confusing parking lot that can tend to be an issue for some people. That, my friends, is M&T Bank - located at the corner or Rte. 52 and Jackson St. - in a nutshell.

A OK 3 stars for easily depositing a check for rent that we brought over with a cashier check from Wells Fargo into a M&T bank account. No other customers were here when we were here. Outside parking with some one way angled parking. Drive thru bank services must be nice for those extreme weather days.
