“Stopped in Poor George for the first time today while exploring Cold Spring with my mom. The owner was most welcoming and helpful. It is clear she takes pride in her shop, which she most definitely should! It's a bright and cheery store with awesome finds. I got a jumpsuit and a dress that I absolutely love. I plan to visit her website and order more in the future. I highly recommend stopping by Poor George when in the Cold Spring area.”
“The deals are great and the workers are friendly. They are doing their best and wonderfully kind people, I'd you stop by just stay kind. It is definitely worth the visit. They have clothes, merch, bags, hats, jewelry, sex items, pins, cups, and so much more for your nerds this holiday season. The prices aren't bad for what you are getting. “Took my 3 boys 5,6 and 10 as well as my self. Bizzy as they were, they came over asked if we need help. Within 10 minutes they figured out all of our sizes. Found us all the same style and color suits, shirts and ties. Fitted for tailor to ajust and out the door in 1hrs . Great job guys. Will recommend. This was after going to 3 others stores already 3hr later. Next time it will be my first stop .”

I had fainted in the store when my fiancé and I at the time we’re shopping for a suit for him for our wedding. and the staff was nothing but kind throughout the whole thing. They got me water and kept checking on me and didn’t rush me away. Thank you so much to the staff to help me I just wish I got your names. ❤️”

“I visited Macy's in Poughkeepsie today to purchase new make-up. I was greeted by Yani in the Clinique department. She was anxious to assist in my goal to obtain a more natural look. She did a make over using Clinique products and did a fabulous job. Her choice of color worked very well with my skin tone, and she explained why these colors work best to obtain a more natural look. This girl knows her stuff! I would highly recommend her to anyone shopping for new make up or attempting to obtain a certain look. She will take great care of you! I will be going back to see her. That has changed. Sephora is the focal point of the store - taking up a considerable portion of the store.
The jewelry department is now a couple of racks with costume jewelry.
The selection over-all is greatly diminished.”
