I cannot say enough good things about this product. Ordered 50 Oysters, Gloves and a new Knife. Oysters were plucked from the water on Monday and arrived beautifully packaged and cold on Tuesday morning. They are all fresh and delicious. The Knife is fantastic and the hinge on the cup is so easily identifiable that we had these shucked in a snap. It made for a beautiful presentation on Thanksgiving afternoon. While we were cooking we stood around the kitchen island with family, drinking Prosecco and shucking oysters, can't get fresher than that. Such an absolute treat for everyone. I used to be a cook and have shucked alot of Oysters for parties at the restaurant and these stood out. I will most definitely order from this Oyster farm again.

Magnificent oysters, great customer service!They overnight shipped a super fresh harvest to NYC for free (Mind. Blown!), so that we could safely enjoy the freshest box. The oysters reminded me of cherry blossom petals: delicate, tender, crisp taste, nearly melts in your mouth.Highly recommend! Looking forward to ordering again, as soon as I can make room in my stomach for another 50 oysters. ?

These are THE best east coast oysters I've ever had. They are super fresh and the company is incredibly responsive. It also turns out that Fishers Island Oysters also strives to be in harmony with the environment in the way that they farm and work sustainably. Absolutely highly recommended!!

What a welcomed surprise and discovery… and just by chance that an internet search would provide some of THE BEST tasting oysters we’ve ever had. With all my questions about sizes and flavors, Molly, a super-knowledgeable and compassionate team member, guided me to purchase a bag of 50 oysters (25 Regular & 25 Petite). What a great decision to experience the difference in texture, mouthfeel and salinity… was one of the best holiday meals in many years. And all this was overnighted (Zone A shipping included w/ purchase)! What an experience! THANK YOU Molly and the team at FIO!

We ordered oysters for the holidays and they were delicious! They came packed in ice and were super fresh! My husband got to try out his new shucking knife for the raw ones we had and we also grilled some with garlic butter and a barbecue bourbon sauce. To die for!!

In my opinion, the best oysters on the east coast--and now you can order them online to ship overnight to your house. Arrived ice-cold and fresh as can be. Absolutely delicious -- like a little taste of the sea in each shell. Perfect with a little lemon juice or grilled with an herb butter. They've got a good hinge that makes them easier to shuck than some others. Super friendly people, great oysters. No higher recommendation.

In October, these three-year olds were very briny and straightforward in flavor (still without much of the cold-water sweetness that comes later in the season), medium-silky in texture, and meaty without being unwieldy... Fishers Island Oyster Farm produces delightful oysters AND they deliver straight to your door for free if you're in Connecticut, Delaware, Rhode Island, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York City, Long Island or Vermont! I have to admit that one of the things I've missed most in the last seven months or so are the good oyster bars that proliferate in NYC. Out of desperation / gluttony, I've learned how to shuck using this glorified wooden wedge contraption called the Kraken ( not affiliated with Fishers Island Oyster Farm, just a handy-dandy thing to have), which has so far helped me keep all of my fingers intact. Fisher Island oysters are on the easy side to shuck. It's not too hard to find that gap in the hinge (unlike Wellfleets and Mystics for me), and the very deep, fairly smooth cups on the oysters keep the oyster liquor where it belongs: in the oyster shell. The minimum delivery order is 50 oysters, I believe, for an unbeatably reasonable $75. Pricing is as good if not better than the best happy hour you could imagine in NYC (including at my personal favorites, Cull & Pistol and Jeffrey's Grocery), on par with our local, retail suppliers, whose quality is more hit-or-miss. I had Fisher's Islands for the first time, years ago, steps away from where we lived in the West Village, but I'm not sure how widely distributed in NYC they are. Citarella seems to carry them. I'm a big, big fan, folks. If you like your oysters very briny, and if you're a beginner home shucker like me, give these very shuckable Fishers Island bad boys a go. I can't wait to have these again in the winter.

Just enjoyed fresh oysters shipped by this company to my home in Ohio - delicious! And the logistics and pricing were simple, which I appreciated. Was even able to get an oyster knife shipped with the oysters.
