Angelica was amazingly pleasant and helpful when I was trying to activate my new card. She took care of the issue efficiently and with extreme patience . She took care of me promptly though I didn't have an appointment. The woman at the receptionist desk was also friendly. The branch is 35 miles from where I live but it paid off in an overall great experience.

10a - 4p are some of the worst hours. This is not helpful to meet the needs of members or business with only hours when people are at work.

Had trouble changing phone number to link external bank accounts (old phone number), so I made and appointment and went in person, and she couldn't change either and didn't know how. She called and I was told to go home and go under transfers there's menu options in blue on the right to remove old phone number, if I had trouble to call. I did. After wasting another 30 minutes on hold, the associate didn't have a clue how to change either. Amazing. After a while, I finally figured out the advice I was given was 100% inaccurate. If you ever have this problem don't waste time with BOA associates. Go to profile, when you delete old phone number, option comes up (VERY hard to see), not "to the right" but right below delete button in upper middle of screen, saying "I no longer have this number" - can delete with ATM card info. Four hours + wasted talking to them, so be efficient and avoid. Just because BOA has ATMs in every state is only reason I keep an account open with them. Their the WORST bank I've ever done business with. This is just the most recent example of several ridiculous problems with BOA over the years. They don't care about personal banking customers anymore. They're too big.

The Fayetteville branch on E. Genesee Street was outstanding in helping us!My daughter needed a reference letter and she went to a different local branch and requested one. They told her it would take 2 days. When she returned 2 days later, they did not have it done, nor did they have it done the following day.I called the branch in Fayetteville, and after explaining the situation, Michelle said she would help us. The Fayetteville branch expedited the letter. Michelle, Sam, and Angelica were amazing! Moreover, my daughter was able to meet her deadline.Thank you for treating us with kindness and respect, and for making us feel like valued customers! For all of our future banking needs, Fayetteville is the only branch in Syracuse we will use!!!

I've been with BoA for over 20yrs. I go into the bank today to do financial business and requested a bathroom for my 6yr old child. The teller directs us to the grocery store on the other side of the plaza! I get not wanting the public to use the bathroom, but a child, really??? I had to wait outside the bank in the heat and wait for my husband to come back from the store just so my child didn't pee on herself. When I was here a few yrs ago the workers were nice enough to allow a child to relieve themselves, guessing Covid has ruined empathy for a kid? BoA is still great, just disappointed with this location.

The White employee kept assuming I was a Permanent Resident when I told her repeatedly that I was a US Citizen! With how she treated us, it was clear she was RACIST! So we decided to open accounts at Chase.

I suppose I should have read the reviews of this branch before I set up an appointment to discuss how I could manage my mother's BOA account. The person I was scheduled to meet with wasn’t there. I was taken to another employee at a desk in the lobby and was told it was the only space available to discuss my banking questions. I expressed my discomfort with having to meet in a public place at least three times, including when several people gathered nearby to listen. I was told that they were co-workers of the person I was meeting with, so I shouldn’t worry. For each question that I had I was essentially told that nothing could be done, and there was no effort to assist me. I found the entire experience completely unprofessional and was shocked by the incompetence. People, there are many good banks around. Don’t waste your time here.

Well first of all I get a promotional offer from AAA for a bank of America credit card, with a 0%apr offer on purchases for 15 billing cycles (as most banks offer when they're trying to get you to sign on) so applied at AAA and instantly got approved. I get the card in the mail and pay off my heating bill and a couple others things to avoid any interest whatsoever. I pay a couple hundred on my first bill and when I got the second bill I see almost 6 dollars in interest fees. I tried contacting bank of America with the number on my card and on the bill and had no help at all, went to AAA and they said all they do is the application process and that I needed to go to bank of America to discuss the issue. So I do and I dealt with the most rude person imaginable at there office in Dewitt NY, she was no help at all but she did get someone on the phone who I had to speak to for about 30 minutes in their building trying to get this righted around, the guy called me back the next day and said it was all sorted out. I just got my third bill in the mail and they messed something up, it shows the promotional offer which is great, but their still charging me almost 4 dollars in interest for some reason, now I have to deal with this process again. This is absolutely ridiculous, anyone I've talked to is very unorganized and not very knowledgeable at all. I've wasted so much time chasing them around. They are complete Crooks, if I was some old lady they could have really robbed me blind. I'm sure it will get sorted out but no one should have to deal with this kind of stress and nonsense. I went ad far as to bring the promotional offer with me to the bank when I went in, I mean come on. Just watch out if you decide to bank with these people, keep your guard up.
