Just came from here. My first time at this location. Had to pick up an already purchased item. The little bit of employee I encountered were nice. However, the other fellow customers aren’t. I was actually racially profiled. This was already a thought in my mind since the area is a predominantly white neighborhood and I happen to be a 6’6 ft tall black man.

I was able to get everything I wanted but, I waste a lot of time trying to find someone with a key to open the nicotine cabinet and then I have to show proof of age when I check out. If I have to show proof of age when I check out, then why do they keep the nicotine gum locked up.

Great store! My only complain is about their new bags; their handles break easily. Bring back the bags with sturdier handles and we are talking all 5 stars!

Very good store for a variety of items, including essential grocery items. Good deal when you use the Target credit card you save 5% on almost everything.

Today 05/14/2024 at around 2:30 pm (just walked out the store), I went to the self checkout and felt like someone staring at me. Turned around to find one of the employee at the checkout staring at me for no reason at all. When I first went there and said hi, she didn’t say hi back, just a blank stare. Then continued to stay right behind me and stare. There was another customer (caucasian woman) checking out but the employee didn’t look at her but me (person of color). Then when the receipt didn’t came out fully because they ran out of the paper, I asked her for help and she came with “rolling eyes” and put a new paper roll. I said “thank you” and “have a good day”. Again no reply, nothing! But she did for other customers!! This is unacceptable in this day and age, especially coming from a younger woman who is probably in her 30s. Unprofessional. This target just lost another customer. Peace out!

I just picked up an order here, I walked up to the very busy scrolling on his phone cashier and said, " hi I'm here to pick up an order". He said nothing, I looked him in the eyes and said "Hi..." he then replied " I got you" No good afternoon, no hi, no happy to help you. Nothing. Target will never get my money again due to the lack of customer service.

After about 10 minutes of wondering around aimlessly clearly searching for a specific item, I was about to leave a one star review and then a lovely woman assisted me and her name is Kait. She not only told me the location of the product I was looking for, but then walked me over to make sure that they had it in stock. While I understand why certain employees may shy away, from a frustrated customer, there are still people that genuinely enjoy helping others and Kait is definitely the latter. THANK YOU, KAIT! Target needs more people like you and less people like the angry and entitled woman (that gave me bad intel that led me to my hero Kait) behind the pharmacy counter today at around 1:20 PM at your Farmingdale, NY location. Kait needs a raise and the pharmacy employees need to check their egos at the door. #bereasonable
