100% recommend Scotsman's Auto here in Farmingdale. Jim and his team did a wonderful work with my Bronco when it got side swiped in the parking lot. They also fixed the small dent/scratch on the back of my car, and it literally looked like no dent was ever there! Pleasure to work with and they made my first time with the insurance claim so easy.

MANAGER TOLD ME TO KILL MYSELF (LINK BELOW) If I could give no stars, I would. I brought my car to this location 5 times over the course of 6 years. The most recent time, I asked if I could speak to my normal point of contact there, whose name is Zeki. He did not call me back, so for a week I called asking to speak to him, still nothing. Finally the woman at the front desk told me he does not work at that location anymore and he manages all four of their shops. So I finally get the chance to talk to him by going to their Islip shop. After that I waited some more, got my car back, and noticed some damage in the interior on a cover that goes over the speaker in the door panel. I showed up to Islip again since Bay Shore gave me the cold shoulder for weeks about returning a phone call and Islip said they could not do anything. So then I go back to Bay Shore and after showing the manager the damage, and explaining I have been a long time customer, he said to me "you can go and kill yourself, I am not fixing the car" truly deplorable disgusting behavior. I am even disgusted by the fact GEICO recommended them to me in the first place. Truly just so unfortunate all around. For the record, after a bunch of hooting and hollering Islip agreed to fix the damage, but still Bay Shore has not taken responsibility and even made the Islip shop pay for the new part that was needed which mind you took less than an hour to fix. I'm still amazed no one there could be an adult, take responsibility for the damage they caused, and simply fix it. breakdown of youtube vid which is the clip I recorded without his knowledge where he tells me to go kill myself manager Brock and the foreman Obie arrive I say eat your lunch and then we can talk, he says no lets talk now he tells me he won't repair the damage, I say well I would like to show it to you, we then walk back in and the recording starts 0-0:35 I first try explaining I have been a long time customer there so I don't feel it is to not fix this and before I can explain that Brock interrupts 0:35-1:35 he's screaming at me and I'm trying to get him to let me talk and finish to no avail 1:05-1:16 then this guy says his food is getting cold, that is why I said eat before we talk 1:16: "You can go kill yourself I am not gonna pay for that" 1:20 Obie begins to chime in first thing he says is to call GEICO, but it is not damage GEICO caused I am looking down at the floor, listening intently but frankly at this point why should either of you deserve to be looked in the eye? as I said to him, you want respect give respect, I asked for the respect of hearing me out and letting me explain that I have given you repeat business so it isn't right to do this to me, so when I don't get to finish explaining that I'm not going to look you in the eye 1:52 so again after respect is brought up at I am told to respect their lunchtime, again, I tried to and you both invited me in to talk, and then they both start screaming saying they'll call the cops trying to kick me out 2:20 after the three of us all talking over each other, I again try to explain I have brought the car here many times this is not right and the only reason I brought it to their Islip location to try to go the speaker damage after getting the car back was because I didn't appreciate the service given to me by the receptionist I just want to point out that right around this time in the audio you can hear Brock say to me how old are you and you know what I would be willing to bet that both of those men have somewhere between 10 and 20 years on me, but I walked out of there completely certain that I am light years ahead of the both of them in maturity between the way they were screaming at me but anyways receptionist said Zeki told her day one to stall me and he didn't want to talk to me. What kind of service is that when I have given you repeat business? I will never step foot in here again

Can’t recommend them enough. Made the headache a breeze. Jimmy the manager put us at ease and they did a fantastic job. The job was even done sooner than they estimated. Look at before after pictures! Phenomenal!

Everything about the process of having my vehicle repaired was perfection. Everyone (especially Marie) was beyond kind, helpful, patient and courteous. I was going though State Farm and Scotsman's communication with the representative was seamless. The work was completed perfectly in a far shorter time than stated (which saved me on rental costs)I highly recommend this team.

Poor communication from staff about repairs, pricing, and when work would be complete. Staff were rude, complaining about me, and their colleagues while I was still in the office.Work seems to have been done well and timely but I won't go back.

THE BEST! From start to finish, I was presented with the utmost professional service. Jim is an absolute pleasure to deal with. He took care of my car, and he answered all my questions I had during the time my car was there. He helped me with rental and was full of advice regarding the windshield I was fixing while my car was there. Ladies in the office were a joy to deal with. I requested a test drive upon the car repair completion, and the main mechanic was very eager to please me, and we went for a drive. I wanted to see that my car was the same car before the accident and that it drives exactly the same and I was very much pleased. It was very important to me to do a test drive since my Passat was never before serviced by anyone else than mechanics in Volkswagen of Huntington. From a car person point of view, which I am, I can safely recommend Jim and his team. The repair of my car was so smooth, there was no problem, Jim professionalism, and gentleness in his approach towards the customers makes all the difference, and I am most grateful. Thank you very much for everything. I will remember you.

Everybody at Scotsman’s what is an absolute pleasure to work with. They are all kind and understanding that having a damaged vehicle absolutely sucks and they want to get it back to you as soon as possible.With that they are completely knowledgeable on all of the steps you have to take to get your car repaired start to finish including helping you out with the rental car.I truly felt like this was a no frills experience, everything was being done for a reason, and a good one at that.Whiles I hope I don’t have to bring a damaged vehicle back, this would absolutely be the place I would choose to make my repairs in the future. My truck came back in wonderful condition.

I recently had the pleasure of bringing my car to Scotman Auto after a tree fell on it. Initially, I was quite upset because the repair process took longer than expected, and I needed my car for work. However, my frustration quickly turned to delight when I saw the final result.The team at Scotman Auto did an outstanding job, and my car now looks as if it just rolled off the dealership lot.
