Ever since I brought my mini to this shop a year ago I have been having issues with it. I am puzzled how this guy Rudy is still in business, he does more harm than good. When he looked at my car he couldn't even open the hood, he broke the latch and charged me to fix it. I asked for inspection and reset warning lights. He couldn't figure out warning lights and told me I have to do it myself, lol. He recommended to change breaks (pads and rotors) a year later all rotors were warped and rusted. I brought it back to show him his crappy job and his response was I have to get new breaks. I never had to change breaks every year considering I only drove 5000 mi since his job. He also called three other guys to deal with pregnant me. I really hope his daughter or his wife will get the same treatment. Eventually I took my car to a different mechanic and he laughed at me that I paid $1200 for a low grade rotors last year. Don't trust this scumbag with your car. Oh and his b/o in the shop and in my car made me gag so much that I had to detail interior.

Rudy is a great local auto repair establishment who really is old school in the way he works with customers and builds a great rapport. No stress, no hassles, I feel very confident in their abilities and reliability. His shop is super convenient and located in the shadow of Amityville LIRR station so it's very convenient for NYC commuters. My longtime mechanic, Strictly, retired so I was anxious about a replacement shop, fortunately I found Rudy and he's even closer to the LIRR stop:-)
