Pet Sitting & Training
Hounds Town USA Farmingdale
45 Rome St, FarmingdaleWe absolutely love Hounds Town in Farmingdale. They take such good care of our pup Chewy and know him by name when he comes in- which means so much to us. It makes us feel like he isn’t just another dog to watch, but that they actually care about the dogs that come in! We love the different “parties” they have, the pictures they take and the different activities they do for our dog. We love that he has so much fun there and we feel super confident to be boarding him there for almost 3 weeks coming up. Thanks for everything Hounds Town but especially for keeping our pup safe and having a blast!!!

Dark Horse Tavern
273 Main St, FarmingdaleWe decided to hang out here after getting out of work in Melville, we all work pretty late hours so we arrived around midnight on a Thursday night. It was suprisingly pretty busy for a Thursday. The crowd I'm guessing were college kids looking to hang out. They had a great variety of beer options on tap as well as a cocktail menu. My friend got the summer in Brooklyn beer, and I asked the bartender to make me a mocktail. He gave ne some options, but I wasnt familiar with the drink names. So he just fixed me up whatever he thought would be good. It was amazing. I think it was like a lime mojito kind of drink. I noticed you could also still order food around 1am, I'm not sure when they close their kitchen. We also noticed they have a jukebox which we could connect to through an app on our phone. We had lots of fun with that. Around 2:30pm they started to close their main dining room. So they told us to kindly move to a different location within the bar. They had a larger area in the back outside to accommodate us, as well as the main bar area. I was tired and went home around 3am. They are open until 4am, so it's a great late night spot to hang out!
