Move and store. A lots of promises. Lots of lies. They moved us out of our home in November. Stored furniture and then Moved us into our new home in January. In the process Damaged high end furniture and broke the metal door and hinges from garage into house. They also lost boxes important possessions. Time was more important than quality. They promises to fix everything and that was in January 2023. Even after numerous calls and their promises to remedy all issues they don't even return our calls for remedy. They just kept leading us on. It is now the end of September 2023. Not worth what was paid. I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemies.

Our experience with Leavy Brothers was excellent. Moving day had non-stop torrential rain. All of our furniture was carefully wrapped and sealed to protect each piece from the rain. The crew was professional and accommodating throughout and made what could have been a stressful situation fine. Everything was carefully placed where we asked. We opted for Leavy Brothers to pack for us and were very happy with the level of protection afforded out items - there was absolutely no damage to any of our things.The owner (Greg) gave us a very competitive estimate and answered all of our questions. He provided many tips that made our move easier. The actual cost of the move ended up below the estimate. Greg is terrific to work with. We strongly recommend Leavy Brothers.

DO NOT USE THEM!! I moved to NC. from NY in 2021 and it has been a nightmare. They lost my headboard and ruined my Sleep Number bed. I had other things either lost or broken. I had to file for the lost and broken items. The estimate was $6500 and all they game me was $850 that after 2 Years, I finally got my check. I had an older man with a bad back move my stuff. If it wasn't for the day workers that they hired, it would have taken them into the late night to finish. BTW, they moved 2 other families that day in the same truck. I'm sure someone else is enjoying my electric piano.

Biggest pieces of shit in the business! They destroyed our stuff blamed it on us. Then he workers started blasting racial comments about my wife and mother in law. It took these idiots almost a year to finally settle and they still did nothing right. Greg is the biggest liar. He'll sell you and never deliver. Do yourself the favor and find some one else. Everything these people did was all blamed on us. Once they have your money and if you need to get in touch with them, good luck on them calling you back.

We used this company to move out of our home in East Meadow LI after researching so many other companies, reading reviews and getting advice from many others on which company was best. I would absolutely not recommend them!!!! They stored our furniture and all our boxes in their facility until we moved them all down to us in South Carolina on Monday 4/25. We sold all our expensive furniture before we moved except for 2 pieces- our couch which was custom made and my son's bed which he picked out himself before we moved. We were told by the owner that anything that is taken apart will be put back together in the original condition and they cover for all items moved and stored by their company. After unpacking the sectional couch we noticed the back cushions were missing and were told by the 2 movers to check ourselves all our boxes - see picture. Also they were not able to put my son's new bunk bed together fully the way it was set up. The men who moved our stuff told us they didn't know what else to do so left and told to call the company ourselves. We have been contacting the company since last week - we were told the owner is away so have been leaving messages for the manager in charge and haven't gotten any calls or messages returned. No call back in over 9 days!!!! As you can imagine we are extremely upset and just want the issue resolved. The contract signed by us covers for any lost or damaged personal belongings. How can a company do this and not return any of our calls or want to help us after spending thousands of dollars with them?

All I can say is that these guys are amazing. The moving men are experienced and respectful of my property (and they're nice). I highly recommend this company. Greg, thank you for making this move stress free. I will definitely be calling you in the future.

So happy I chose to go with this company!!! They ensured my furniture was moved safely and in one piece. They were professional the entire time and made sure nothing was damaged along the way. I will definitely recommend this moving company to anyone and if needed I will definitely use them again !!

They chipped almost all of my furniture!!I showed them before they left my place and they took pictures. Then the owner came to look at all of the damage. He said he felt really bad but he couldn't fix any of it and he would send me a check. He never did. Boxes were also missing. Terrible company!!!

These workers are absolutely horrible!!!! They blocked the street completely and refused to move. They also started flipping us off and smacking and shaking their behinds in front of us. Such inappropriate and unprofessional behavior. I can't believe I was treated this way by a supposedly "reputable" company. Absolutely disgusted and appalled by this behavior. I recommend everyone stay AWAY from these people. Scum of the earth.

I used Leavy Brothers moving company for my move in December 2019 to move my things out of my house and into Storage before building our new home. I met with at least 5 other moving companies before picking Leavy Brothers Moving. I am glad I picked Leavy Brothers and Greg Leavy. Greg Leavy is honest and transparent. He came on time for my appointments with him and he was always available. His movers were skilled and careful. They all made my move as easy as it could've possibly been. Greg's price was accurate and it never changed. I will be hiring them for my move back into my home, once the building is complete. I'm thankful that we found Leavy Brothers and we are happy to be using a reputable and honest mover.

On October 27 I hired Leavy Brothers Moving and Storage to move my furniture to my new house. The men, David and his brother, were very professional in all aspects of the move. They worked through pouring rain and did not even complain once. They wrapped my furniture with care and set it in place when we arrived at the new house. I would DEFINITELY recommend these hard working men. They were dedicated, courteous and efficient.

Wonderful experience with a seasoned, professional Moving and Storage company I normally don't write reviews but was extremely satisfied with my move with Leavy Brothers. I had to share this experience as I've made three major moves before and this was the only one that went off without a hitch. I spoke to James, the Office Manager, who was polite, knowledgeable and accommodating. He arranged a quote done by the owner, Greg, and he came out immediately. The quote was extremely fair and I was pleasantly surprised with how quickly it was done. I boxed most of my belongings myself, except my kitchen, and had them wrap my larger pieces of furniture. They did a great job. The moving team was efficient and extremely cautious with my furniture, cartons and my walls. In my past negative experiences with other companies I was concerned with the condition of my furniture and if they would arrive on time. On my prior moves, walls were dinged and scuffed, furniture broken, items missing. One company showed up 1 week late!!! Leavy Brothers was the only moving company where I had 100% satisfaction. Everything was in perfect condition. They arrived exactly when they said they would! It wasn't an easy move either as it was sweltering hot and I was moving into a large 4 bedroom house with a lot of stairs. If you are looking for professionals who will do a great job for you and give you peace of mind Leavy Brothers is the way to go. They will make your transition stress free at a very stressful time. I highly recommend them with their fair pricing and expert moving crew.

I don't usually write reviews but I had to say, I called Gary on Monday looking to move a 4 bedroom house from LI to Queens, not only did he accommodate me he was also willing to hold my things on the truck to make the move the next day because the landlord wasn't going to let me move in until Wednesday AM, with NO EXTRA CHARGE. He sent the crew of David, Larry and Brandon, what phenomenal guys. They were courteous, fast and efficient going in and out of the high ranch with steps. They packed up and moved everything in 3 hours and was ready to go even with the add ons I kept asking them for. Never once telling me NO nor did they get upset.Fortunately for me the Landlord agreed to let me move in on Tuesday and the Crew headed straight over to the new place and got to work. This was a second floor walk up and they didn't miss a beat, got everything up and in its proper location, put together the King size bed and arranged the room. At the end of the move there was NOTHING broken and that I could appreciate because I have had things broken because it was thrown around not handled properly. In all I would highly recommend this moving company and definitely request the 3 man crew of David, Larry and Brandon you won't be disappointed. Oh I forgot to add the total came out to way less then Gary had quoted, so I was also happy about that too. So in all had a great experience with this moving company and will definitely call them back for my next move with the same Crew.
