I recently purchased a Lazyboy recliner at their store in Farmingdale. I dealt with Kevin, who is the store manager. He was extremely nice and knowledgeable. I described to him what I was looking for and he showed me a couple of chairs. The first one he showed me was exactly what I was looking for. It was a power recliner which had a remote to raise and lower the back, legs, head and lumbar. It was very easy to operate. The chair was very cushioned and the head and legs were long enough to accommodate my six foot frame. I look forward for the delivery to my house so my wife and I can enjoy it.

Don't buy La-Z-Boy furniture. They're not who they used to be. There are so many other Furniture Stores on LI that actually respect and care for their Customers.
I've purchased at this location twice. The first time it was a supposed 'closing this location' sale in 2021 and it was great.
The second time, 2022,not only didn't they close, but all the professional sales people were gone and replaced by people who sit down a lot, don't know anything and act very confused.
It was a horrible experience, and I'm stuck with a very expensive recliner that does not equal the quality of the chair they have in the showroom in any way.
Tons of complaints on FB, Twitter and BBB.

The store and people are fine. However if you are going to purchase a recliner, do your home work especially for what they charge. Sit in it for a bit, look underneath ask questions. Unfortunately I bought 2, I was influenced by their Quality verbiage. Shop, take your time otherwise you may not be happy. In my opinion..not better than most others at half the price. After 3 mos. It started sinking. I have 2 other recliners I purchased at macys 5 years ago and still going strong. Oh then comes the extended warranty push which most stores have as well.....due your diligence! Update: The extended warranty does not cover foam. The customer service people want $165 to come and evaluate. The 165 will be put towards the bill. All in all, we were looking at ranges between $350-$450! What a rip-off. So, I went on YouTube and, saw the procedure. Removed 8 screws and brought the seat to a shop in Huntington. The used high density foam. The total job was just under $145. Way better than the original feel. Lazy Z Boy...all hype. Hey my opinion, I lived it, choose wisely.

I meant to write this review awhile ago, but life happens as it does, which is no reflection on the salesperson or store. We visited this store mid June to shop their early 4th of July sale. I wanted to get a really nice recliner chair for my husband and a decent one for me. My husband came with me so he could chose one he liked, but my husband HATES in person shopping. Sales Associate John Ferguson helped us. Not only did he help us find wonderful chairs, he actually was able to get my husband to enjoy the shopping experience - and that is no mean feat. We purchased two chairs that were within our budget and were still ones we absolutely loved. He explained some of the specials that were going on and a protection policy they were offering that actually made sense to purchase, unlike most other protection policies. He let us know you could order the pieces unassembled if you have a narrow doorway, which we did in the room the chairs were going. The chairs arrived two weeks earlier than they thought, the assembly team put them together and had great clean up, even with pouring rain outside. From start to finish, a wonderful experience. We absolutely love our chairs and I am so glad that we went to this La-Z-Boy and John was our salesperson. Highly recommend.

Jen, Lazy Boy salesperson, helped me choose a beautiful sofa and a lounge chair that does everything. I’m so happy with my choices, could not have done it without Jen’s help. The quality is exceptional and the price was great. I recently hurt my back, so I needed furniture with good support and I got it from Lazy Boy. Thank you Jen, I am very happy with my purchase and will be back in the future.
