We were closing on a house on Long Island and needed a fast inspection, fortunately we found Tommy of HomeSpector who came to our rescue! From our first phone call, Tommy was a professional & a total pleasure. His communications prior to our appointment were also first-rate. He was able to inspect our prospective home on short notice & did a great job-; Tommy is meticulous & very detailed oriented. Tommy carefully walked us through the whole process, then actually had us walk the house with him, inside and out, as he gave us (first) a detailed verbal report of everything we should be aware of before we closed. Within 24 hours a full written inspection report was emailed to us, with scores of supporting photographs documenting anything that might impact our final sale, as well as longer-term maintenance issues we should be aware if we decide to buy the house. At the same time, Tommy was so polite, the seller & her broker were very friendly & engaging with him, not adversarial, the whole process was painless from beginning to end. Last thing, when I followed up with Tommy with a question regarding an issue he had raised that might impact the final sale, he got back to us immediately with additional research that allowed us to close the deal. Tommy does great work, hire him without hesitation!

I was referred to Tommy by a previous home inspector I used but is no longer doing inspections and boy am I glad I connected with Tommy. Tommy was on time, cordial and a very knowledgeable home inspector. He took the time out to explain every detail in depth throughout the house.
