“First time at Superior Electronics to fix a Yamaha powered speaker (DSR115). The owner, Kent, has been doing this for 30+ years. Pro-audio and TVs are his specialty. I didn't even know this repair shop existed so close to where I live.He offered to check the speaker out and bill me an agreed rate only if he fixed it. No diagnostic fees. His rates were reasonable. They apparently have all the stock of parts that was left when B&K went out of business and even updated my firmware with the very latest that had come out before B&K went kaput. I was very disappointed to find out that Stargate is now closed forever. It was the last hope for keeping those incredible B&K products going.”
