Check Point is the best experience I've ever had with a mechanic. They're extremely trustworthy, honest, respectful, and skilled. They will give you the truth and not try to sell you on unnecessary labor or parts. I highly recommend everyone go to checkpoint for any car needs for good and honest work.

I was due for inspection on my 2 year old lease and I wanted to go to a mechanic who was trustworthy and reputable. A bunch of my co workers had recommended this place, that the owner Nick was really good. I'm glad I went. He was honest, informative, quick and efficient. The waiting room was really clean and comfortable and he was attentive to me and the other clients waiting. You can tell he's not only knowledgeable but wants to do right by his customers. I will be going back to them for my oil changes and anything else I need done until my lease is up. Very happy!

Amazinggggggg!!!! Im a person who like to read review and not write one but this place deserves to know how amazing they are.First of all Bobby is amazing mechanic. I didn't speak to nick but my fiancé did and he said he’s incredibly nice. Through out our experience we dealt with Bobby. And May I say my car was making lots of noise and had issues it seem like no one could find and with the year we had this car We went to a lot of mechanics and it was still there with all the mechanic until Bobby fix it. He told us what needed to be work on and told us step by step what needed to be done and why? I don’t say this about anyone but this place has the best mechanic and amazing owner. And the receptionist in the front was super polite. They have reasonable prices and they’re very trustworthy.

nick is truly amazing! switched to check point after going to pep boys for many years after they told me i needed something fixed (costing over $1000) that they were incorrect about and nick was able to tell me the right thing. even when i was 4 1/2 hours away at college, nick helped me not get up-charged over $300 and taken advantage of by mavis since i was too far away for him to help me. it is hard to find trustworthy and honest mechanics these days but nick is one of them!!

If you want a place that is honest and does great work, this is it! They will never tell you that you need to do something just to make money. I cannot say enough good things about this place. Nick is the best and I will not take my cars anywhere else!

Check Point Automotive, located in Farmingdale, NY, was recommended to me by friends & family, as well as by my superintendent, who notoriously demands 100%. They don't advertise; they don't need to as their excellent workmanship, honest pricing, and client dedication results in a natural word-of-mouth marketing.Nick, the owner & operator, is personable and easy to talk to. If you are concerned or upset about something, let him know. There's an obvious pride in his company, and he wants the customers to know they are important. Whatever the issue, no matter who is wrong or right, he will do everything he can to have you leave with a smile and the knowledge that you'll be back there for your NYS car or motorcycle inspection.Check Point also does complete car repairs for both foreign and domestic makes/models. Bring your car in for brake & tire replacements, 4-wheel alignments, and all the other "keep it in prime and safe running condition" items.The waiting room is clean and cozy, with a large coffee making area and a water bottle machine. It's decorated with wall art, a tv, books, magazines, motorcycle models, and other little things to spend your time on while waiting. Even the bathroom is unexpectedly large, pretty, and spotless with thought put into decoration!This is one of my longest reviews because they deserve it. Give it a chance--go there, and experience it yourself! ?

Nick was awesome, took my car in because the last guys who worked on my car stripped the lug nut. They got it off in just a few minutes. Very honest and respectable people. Definitely returning for alignments and tire installation.Service: Auto maintenance
