Truck drivers made abrupt and illegal maneuvers on the cross Bronx. I wouldn't trust them to safely move a valuable piano.

I needed someone to move my two pianos in a couple of days. I needed a miracle! Bates is my miracle. We were anguishing the move. They are professional piano movers. Hired Bates Brothers on a recommendation from a friend to move a family heirloom piano from Westchester to Nassau County. Different crews did the pick-up and the delivery. Both teams were very professional, efficient and highly experienced in piano moving. The transfer of the piano into our home from our cousin's home went as smoothly as possible. Would not hesitate to recommend them to prospective customers in need of piano moving services.

This review has been long in coming because it happened a year ago -but let me tell you - I was amazed by the precision & process these strong men executed on getting a 100 year old baby grand player piano down 3 steps and out my door - to move in my new baby grand up 3 steps - and a year later to move IT back down the 3 steps to the final resting spot. Dollies, ramps, straps, moving blankets - folks, this is an art - and REALLY heavy duty. These gentlemen did a GREAT job! would recommend ANY time!

I'd be remiss if I didn't take the time to write a quick review after the EXCEPTIONAL service I received from this piano moving company. We put our baby grand piano in to storage a year and a half ago in preparation for a home renovation. I was pretty nervous, to tell you the truth. The piano is a family heirloom and it's very important to us. So, the idea of removing it from the house wasn't one we were particularly fond of, but it was necessary. From start to finish these guys were FLAWLESS. When they removed the piano from our home, they took great care to protect both the piano and our house and bringing it back they did the same. They protected our hardwood floors and positioned the piano exactly as we asked all while being friendly and polite. We didn't have any damage to our home or our piano. These guys know what they are doing! I doubt we will need to move our piano again. But if we do, I know who I'm calling. These guys are 5 stars all the way:)
