“I’ll give Bill and his crew five stars and kudos for a job well done. I’ve had a 1936 Ford model 68 cabriolet for the past four years. Unfortunately I have only driven it about 400 miles. Brought it down to Cap A Radiator and had it converted to 12 V and completely rewired. All mechanicals were addressed and repaired as needed. For the first time in four years I’m enjoying the car. 1966 Broadhollow Rd STE C, Farmingdale“Recently purchased a 2024 Kona Limited at this location. We worked with Kim as our direct salesperson. Please ask for Kim if you make a visit to 110 Hyundai! Her desk is right up front. She's off on Wednesdays. She was very nice to work with, listened and was receptive to everything. She did not feel pushy or pressing with traditional sales tactics that I found at other dealerships. She was able to answer all of our questions on both used/new vehicles and very accommodating. The managers at this location also were a pleasure and did not feel like they were pushing a vehicle on you. They were willing to negotiate and do their best to make use of all their options for a fair deal. Kim worked swiftly to make vehicles available for viewing/test driving (even if to see other colors of vehicles at the warehouse, so we could see the color in person). She worked in the rain without a a problem. The overall staff was a pleasure to work with and was noticeably trying to make the experience a pleasant one compared to other dealerships/brands. We visited the dealership twice and she was consistent beginning to end in how she did business and her personality. Kim also continued to follow up a couple times (week of and a couple weeks later) to make sure the vehicle was operating as it should and see if there were any questions that might have come up since ownership. I also spoke with some people in the waiting area of the service center (under the same roof as show room) and they mentioned the service center at this location seemed more organized than others, they said it's been a pleasurable experience since ownership of a Hyundai vehicle. Overall, I felt like Kim invested her time and effort in making our purchase pleasant and a truly fair deal at signing. This goes for the managers as well. I already recommend this location and salesperson to other people and plan to purchase any future vehicles from her. Ive purchased several new vehicles in the past for comparison to other dealerships/sales people. The warranty, promotions, APR for finance (well below the going rates) and willingness to beat other prices is standout when comparing other brands (better than Kia as well). The new design models are pretty sharp looking and full of new tech. Originally was shopping for a compact suv (Tucson, Sportage, CR-V, RAV4 etc.); However the price and larger size vehicles nowadays steered us to the Kona. Originally I was uninterested in the Kona, but did some research and decided it was the perfect choice for my Fiancé (primary driver) and myself. Fiancé made the final decision after narrowing our choices. There is plenty of ample space, especially the cargo area when seats are folded down. I did look into other vehicles of this class (subcompact suv) from other brands. This vehicle came out as a clear choice for us across the board. Aside from tech/features and style, the drive seems responsive, smooth, solid, and has plenty of power (1.6L 4-cylinder turbo (non-hybrid) regular gas). The automatic transmission and turbo lag is appropriate for everyday driving and merging on highways (even with short on ramps). Haven't made use of sport mode just kept it in normal. Our true average gas mileage (mostly around town driving, with some highway and no reset) is around 23.5mpg, give or take 0.5mpg. Safety ratings were not out on the new vehicle yet, but based on all the safety features and how the vehicle drives, I'd make the assumption it will score in line with other vehicles. Does not feel small on the road next to larger vehicles either. Hope this review helps with deciding on a dealership and vehicle. P.s consumer reports has a good podcast on auto reviews for free, YouTube is great but falls victim to personal choice/personal preference a bit more, and a few main auto review websites are helpful to cover varying topics.
