“The most charming shop ever— dont let the size fool you, there’s enough amazing things inside to keep you looking and looking. The jewelry selection in particular is rather inspired, as are the singing clocks.

“My wife and I just love Echoes Auction! We have been purchasing antiques and unique items from Echoes for 15 years and are always excited when the monthly listings come out on the website! Our home is filled with some of the most interesting furniture and one off items collected by Pete, Bob, and family. They seem to always get the good stuff! Communication has always been clear and consistent when it comes to bidding guidelines! The comments we get on our home decor is all because of fine eyes at Echoes Antique Auctions. The entire ECHOES crew have always been great people to deal with when it comes to bidding and purchases and deliveries!!! We highly recommend visiting Echoes website at least once a month for all your antique desires. Top Notch operation!”

“Make no mistake this place is a hidden gem with an impressive array of unique treasures to be seen on any given visit. I always enjoy the browse and have taken home some super cool and highly unusual once in a lifetime finds.

It's only important to be aware of the caveats around how it's operated. You will not have a good visit if you require the kind of shoe kissing customer service you may have come to expect from big box stores.

It is visibly family run by an older set of folks who can be flaky and behind the times on basic sales technology. Depending on the day if a manager can't be reached to facilitate a credit card sale or a certain employee isn't on staff who can take down a mounted item for you to examine or purchase, you will simply be unable to.

This is less an indictment than advisement to come prepared. If you're coming from a distance, call ahead to ensure the lights are on (do not rely on Google map hours for a thing here). Cash payment is always going to go smoothly and items that the store requires staff assistance to handle will always be unavailable on the weekends due to said staff not being on hand.

In short, if you have the patience to work around the limits of an informal old fashioned and sometimes less than professional way of business, you'll be better prepared to get the best of what this place has to offer. I recommend it for the browsing experience alone. Just mask up for the musty air quality if you have sensitive lungs.”
