For over 38 years the Recreation and Parks Dept. has made available and promoted Sunday night Adult Co-ed Drop-in Soccer at the Center Park soccer fields. They keep the fields lined and in great shape, sometimes under severe usage and weather conditions. Hundreds of people have enjoyed this activity through the years.

I love Fairport Community Center. I joined a few weeks ago and have nothing but positive experiences. The classes are great, and the staff is kind and professional. Everyone seems to work with you at the level you’re at- no judgment, no pressure. It’s a great place.

I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone UNLESS YOU ARE OLD! I went in here and they had the audacity to tell me they don’t have swimming for kids only weekends. So what is parents who have our kids Sunday-Saturday can’t do anything through out the week here? Makes sense. And then what else do you offer here?! Bc my fiancé went in to play basketball and you have to be 30 or older bc they are having issues with “28” year olds. This place is totally a joke. Literally worst place i have step foot in. This needs to be a SENIOR CITIZEN PLACE ONLY! I would recommend you guys change something because this is a waste of space place.

A lot goes in at Perinton Park because it's in the Towpath on the canal. The town has made this our premier park with heated building, Pavilions, tennis courts, kiddie toys, docks for boat, kayak, canoe access, during in the banks. Lit up at night till closing.

Never have I experienced so much micro aggression and discrimination at a pool. Every time my black nephew tried to ride the slide it was suspiciously closed. Then when he finally got on the second he rode down, but before I did the lifeguard said, "Make sure to close the gate." Furthermore despite there being plenty of room and thirty minute intervals when the pool was opened; every time I asked if my nephew and I could use the pool it was closed for swimming classes. Lastly, the equipment was passed around based on the lifeguard discretion. So certain things were closed for swimming lessons kids only. That'll be fine if two things; one we weren't the only black people there and two they didn't allow whites people who weren't in swimming lessons to use the equipment. In conclusion, YMCA would never.

The place is very nice and have very cool pool for kids to enjoy. We came to this community center for my daughter's tap & ballet class. I like the way how they announce about activities and etc on tv screen which it helps us aware about what's going on and know which location do we need to go. They also can inform us the new room number if the class is changed or cancelled. They have labels where we can go to the destination which is fantastic!!! People who don't live in this residence will need to pay little more on activities. You need to pay a fee if you want to go to pool or track. Overall, it is a wonderful place to go!

Great recreation department. Been participating for over 40 years. Football, soccer, rifle safety in the old Crosman Arms building. 35+ years playing softball at Kreag, Fellows and Spring Lake parks. Used to hang out at Perinton Park and Fellows when we thought we were "cool'. Still having fun!
