I am leaving on a trip. I was looking for Euros. The bank in Victor Ny, they said the did not have Euros but the bank in Fairport did. Then I called the bank in Fairport. They did have Euros and asked how many I needed. I said what I was looking for. They said no problem. Not once in either of these conversations did they ask if I banked with them. So I drove 20 min to go to the bank only to I find out I cannot get the Euros as I don’t bank with citizens. They would not work with me at all. I suggest better training.

Absolutely phenomenal service at this Citizens Bank branch location. I worked with an excellent banker named Kathy who went above and beyond to rectify a fraudulent issue on my account. She turned a stressful situation into a pleasant one. Would definitely recommend this branch! Citizens Bank = the best bank

Customer service is truly horrible. I was given incorrect information by a teller and it’s now impacting my account. After reviewing with the branch manager, he basically said “I’m sorry - there’s nothing I can do to help you. Have a nice weekend.”

I've been banking at this branch for as long as it's been open. I've never had an issue in all of my visits to this bank. Friendly staff, very helpful.

Needed to exchange a small amount of American currency to Canadian currency last minute. Was told by other banks this was the only one they knew that could. I called ahead of time to verify before making the 1hr trip out of my way that it could be done. When I got there the nice people behind the desk told me that since I didn’t have an account with them that it would cost the same amount of money that I wanted to exchange. What a WASTE of TIME. It would have been nice to be told this on the phone before driving out there. No wonder the currency exchange service at banks are disappearing. What a disappointment! I certainly will not be recommending this bank to anyone and will be letting the other banks know to warn their members before sending them.

Employees are more courteous and helpful than most banks. Banking hours are convenient with my long working days. Highly recommend.

Very bad customer service, I have recently closed my account due to continued frustrations and will never bank with them again. I first set up the account as a young teenager working a minimum wage job, at which point I was told my joint checking accounts would be set up for automatic transfer and I wouldn't incur service charges. Contrary to this false promise, I learned several years later that I had incurred over a hundred dollars in service charges, that had been automatically siphoned from my savings account. I did not see these charges because they were incurred on my savings account rather than my checking account, whose transactions I regularly checked. After complaining, I was given less than 50% of this stolen money back, after being told it was my own fault for not transferring money. I did not transfer money because I was told this was unnecessary, and I did not realize I was being charged because the charges were conveniently aimed at the savings account. Whether this was a careless mistake or an intentional scam I do not know, however their callous and insufficient response to my concerns shows the disregard they have for the financial well-being of their customers. I will never bank here again, and I would recommend that all current customers do their own auditing because citizens cannot be trusted.

Waited in the drive thru for over 5 minutes, so I just decided to go in. One person was being helped by one of the two clerks. The other was working on drive ups. I waited 12 minutes. I was trying not to be irritated but then as I was walking out, I saw 2 managers in an office literally doubled over in laughter. So, while you are being paid to work- but not working, my free time gets used up. Instead of coming out and helping, these two employees/bankers just goofed off. Shows how much they care about their customers.

Having moved from out -of-state, my experience is that Citizens is not the most convenient and user-friendly bank. Yes, it is open 7 days a week and that is convenient, the tellers are pleasant and basic personal financing flows easily enough particularly through the branches within grocery stores. However speaking from a business account standpoint, the support and personal attention is lacking after the initial appointment to establish one's account. I did not explore other banks in the area so perhaps this is as good as it gets. If TD Bank (formerly Commerce Bank) moves into the Rochester area check it out for your personal and business accounts.
