The mail women are lazy and unkind. We lived up on a hill and were ordering lots of packages as it was during the holidays. Woke up expecting our packages at the door but instead received a note saying they would be no longer delivering to our house as the conditions from the hill are "dangerous." Ok, fine if you don't want to get out of your truck and do a little physical activity (as your job requires you to do) then I have no choice. I walk down to the post office and the black woman was in there. Mind you, I have had issues with her in the past where she yells at us to keep our dogs off their property and if she sees any p*** she will call the police. Anyways, I tell her where I live and that I am here for my packages. She asks for a form of ID (even though Erieville is tiny and she knows where I live), I didn't have my license on me at the time as I had walked down there but I had my military ID. I presented that and she refused to give me the packages. Unsure why, as that is definitely a form of legal identification, I walked home without my packages. The black woman is very condescending, just a straight up b-word. The white woman is just lazy, won't walk up a hill and do her job (it wouldn't hurt her to either). We called the USPS postmaster, complained and what do you know? We get our packages again! Oh yeah, and my military ID works now too! She must have been unaware of that kind of card, but you can't really get upset at someone who is ignorant.
