It can be really stressful living in rural PA when the car needs maintenance or repairs. Gault has come through for me every time (even with staffing and parts challenges). Much appreciated!

Small dealership and I have swung by here a couple times to get warranty work done. Both the SAs are super friendly and informative. Their estimated times are usually spot on and I have no complaints. I haven't used the loaner service and that needs to be reserved in advance. I had limited time and they got me in within a couple days and fixed everything!

HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!!! I went to Gault BMW with my 2005 BMW Z4 last week to have my car inspection for NYS registration. Brian in the service department failed my car with the following reasons and the price they would charge to repair to pass: Windshield wipers $105 + tax Power steering rack $2,215 + tax 4 way hazard switch. $4,190 + tax Needless to say I went somewhere else. After their inspection all I needed was a tail light bulb for $6.00. What a racket they are. Do not trust them at all. Beware.

Made online service appointment, requested a loaner. The same day received an acknowledgement and a few days later - confirmation. Called on the day of the appointment to confirm. First attempt had me on hold for 20 min, had to hang up. The second attempt had me forwarded to answering machine. Upon arrival, they asked my name, said they don't see any appointments, no loaners available, suggesting that I come next day or make an appointment. No problem, I can leave the vehicle, do it whenever, just help me get home now - the response, as if it was pre-recorded - "no loaners available". What??? After TWO confirmations? Do I have to just keep leaving work until THEY find it convenient??? What a nice treatment after spending over $200k in BMW vehicles at the very same dealer! [censored]

Came into Gault BMW in the morning without an official appointment time, and they were able to squeeze me in and change out a burnt out headlight quickly! Everyone I met was friendly and helpful! Definitely worth the drive to get my BMW serviced here.

Took my mint Black M5 there for service. Got it back dirty. They cleaned it again. Wish they had not. Same knucklehead that used a dirty rag the first time, did it again. Scratched the absolute hell out if it. Took too visits to a detail guy to get it back to 90% mint. Took it back again for additional service, got it back with one halo not working and a 2" tear in my wiper. Worst luxury car dealer I've ever been to. They have a lot to learn. I'll never buy from them. Update to my review. After my previous review, Jim Brothwell was very eager to talk with me. So I called him, and he apologized for the issues I mentioned in my review. He requested that I contact him when I am back in town so that we can schedule an appointment to have those things corrected. I called him May 26, and left a message and did not hear back. I called again on May 27 and left a message and did not hear back. Seems Jim is only interested in calling when you leave negative reviews. I wonderful hear from him now? All fairness, I called Service directly and made an appointment, they took good care of my car, fix the issues, did not charge me. My car was in need of a new state inspection though, but there's no way I'm having them handle that. I've gone elsewhere to have that taken care of, along with a full engine service, new spark plugs and ignition wire system. It's a good thing there such a place called Star Motors in town. So Jim, should I be expecting a call?

I brought my car to gault body shop for a new bumper and have had a horrible experience! The new bumper and paint has been done now for about a month and the paint is chipping off in two different spots. I took my car back to show one of the workers at the body shop and they bright out a magnify glass to look at it and told me that the paint is spidering and it is because I hit something. Im sorry but things hit car everytime you drive a pebble, salt from a salt truck, etc.If any other part of my car hit something the paint would not flake off and has not on any other part of my car. Very unhappy with the work and the way they are handling my complaint. I thought that they were a very reputable business and that was why I chose to go there. Never again!

For the 3rd time, I took my BMW in for work. First time- told it would be ready in afternoon, so had co-worker drop me off only to find out service dept closed for the night and my car not ready. No loaner available. Finally got a loaner, and was told to replace any gas I used....REALLY??? Next time- oil change and check for recalls, promised by 3 pm after told about previous experience. Was not called, so finally called them at 3.. Went to get it only to be told they needed to hook up to computer overnight, never any phone call to inform me of this! Today, called after body shop had car for 5 days for "2-3 day repair" oops, someone was sick so they just finished it last night. When my husband called the owner, Bob Gault, after 2nd incident, he was essentially told " oh, well. What do you want ME to do about it?" Saw a former service department employee someplace else and he said this kind of s**t happens all the time, which was why he left. I love my car, and have had no problems with the sales team, but the service is anything but serving to their customers.

Gualt Volkswagen has the worst service department I have ever encountered. They had our 05 bug for over 2 weeks. Had to call them they will not call you. You would think they would want to fix the problem and get there money not have the car sitting in the lot. These guys act like they could care less if they work on your car, the service manager is a joke and is a arrogant jerk. I will never go back unless it's for the repairs that took them forever to accomplish.

I recently had my 2002 VW Beetle serviced by Gault (June 2013) and had a very unpleasant experience. First of all, I requested that they perform a 100,000 mile diagnostic service on my car as I was getting ready to take it on a road trip. I mistakenly believed that by bringing it to a VW dealership that certified VW mechanics would be working on my car. After having my car for a week and footing a bill for nearly 2000.00 dollars for repairs that I thought were important I left the dealership with my air-conditioning not working, the car pulling to the right, my engine cover falling off and nearly catching on fire on a back road in Tennessee because the mechanic did not realize there was an audio cable connecting my power box to my battery! Of course the dealership felt they owed me at least the amount of money I spent in towing but did not concede to the fact that they have imbeciles working for them! Stay away from GAULT!
