What nice people, and they were competent as well

I went to Staples today to look at their school selection. I was able to find a few good deals for crayons, notebooks, and pencils (all under $1) which was great! The easy returns Staples service is also a great resource for hassle free returns.
HOWEVER the lack of customer service and basic kindness from the cashier (not the person for easy returns) was appalling. I’m very disappointed with my experience.

The guy working in the photo department is the best! I usually come in once a year or so to print out concert ticket stubs, and this time he not only printed them out but cut them for me :’) the last time I cut them out myself and they didn’t look nearly as good as these do. Super fast and great service, thank you so so much!

Was looking for an affordable headset to plug into a landline phone good my Mum, the fancy electronic streets didn't have anything close.
Staples has exactly what I was looking for.
Even the cashier stick up a conversation and turns it we are in the same page with a lot of stuff.

I went to go laminate a sheet of paper and the kid working told me I had to come back in 1 hour or next day to pick up my sheet. I go in there all the time and the girl employees laminate my stuff right there and then so I don’t understand what his problem was. It was point obvious he was lazy. Then I ask him why I have to come back in an hour and he responds because the printer needs to heat up. That’s the most stupidest thing I’ve heard. He’s lucky he caught me on a calm day any other day he would’ve heard my mouth. He was cocky and lazy. If he did that with me just imagine what kind of cocky service he’s giving to other customers that walk in daily. If you need anything in this staples, avoid dealing with this lazy employee.

When ordering online the service is quick and the front counter staff are very helpful and friendly. The Print and Marketing department seems a little annoyed by customers.

I just called this store and the person who answered the phone was rude and hung up on me. I asked who was speaking and she hung up the phone. I called back and identified myself and she said she was busy and hung up again!

The people in charge of printing are mainly the boss. They are inept people, they don't help you, they do their job poorly and then they just ignore you and get angry and in the end they only keep your money. They don't know how to treat a client and give them the necessary help and more. even if they are the ones who do their job badly
