Thank you so much for making my daughter a part of this organization which I consider a very great opportunity in helping her to develop her skills and experience your overflowing generosity and love which I have also benefited much especially with my health condition as I journey with cancer. It’s my prayer that God will richly bless you with His love, joy, peace, good health and protection and more financial blessings with your family and all the people who are behind this organization as you continue to touch other people’s lives through this charitable act that shows your concrete manifestation of love for all people which is pleasing in the eyes of God.As a woman and a mother, again, thank you so much. We will treasure your deed of kindness and generosity forever in our hearts.God bless SLF! To God be all the glory and praise!”
“I had the incredible opportunity to serve as one of the lead teachers at Give Chances Organization, and it has proven to be an immensely valuable experience witnessing each student receiving support in their education and volunteers gaining various leadership and teaching experiences. Collaborating with both students and volunteers has enabled me to cultivate various transferable skills, including effective communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving. I am excited to witness further academic and personal growth in more students.”

Ronald McDonald House, 80 Woods Rd, Valhalla“Girl Scout Troop 2812 was so happy to bake cupcakes for the guests at the RMH in Valhalla. Their entire "House" is extremely clean. We loved using their kitchen to bake with our Junior troop, of 10 year olds. Susan at the front desk made it such a pleasant experience, with quick and easy check-in. We can't wait to volunteer again! We will definitely be back to help. :-)”
“note I don’t charge for my services! But they are some materials that will be needed for me to cast your spell! Will be the money required from you to buy the materials! And once the job is done, you get your results you will appreciate me with whatever comes from your heart!”
“We had absolutely the best customer experience we FM got in a long time. My wife and I went for an international driving permit and the place of full of people waiting to be served. The whole team in the office was efficient, courteous and even offered suggestions regarding our trip, thanked us for being AAA member for many years and got us out in less than 25 mins including taking our passport size pictures. I did not even tell them that we were AAA members. Hats off to the entire team.!!!”
“Beautiful place and hikes. The photo of the map below does not always match the names or arrow/directions posted on the trail itself––very confusing. The place is not too big where are you will get very lost, but bring a GPS app also.”
“Been going here for many years. Highly recommend it. A 45 min walk through, pumpkins carved into all different scenes. They also serve beer, wine, hot chocolate and snacks.”

313 Hudson Ave, Tenafly“Very decent nature center and system of trails around it (see Avenza or AllTrails for precise navigation). Unfortunately mid-July situation with mosquitoes is horrible, just too many of them to enjoy the trails.”
“I was driving past and a beautiful pillow in the window caught my eye and I had to go in. This place is a treasure chest of great items for gifts for others and a few for myself! The woman that helped me the first time I stopped in was so pleasant and welcoming that I had to go back again! You will not be disappointed to make a point of stopping in.”
9AM - 5PM
540 White Plains Rd, Tarrytown“The true care and compassion shown to us by Evelyn, Debra, Tina, Michelle (Aide) and Barbara (Nurse) was incredible. They allowed my mother to pass in the comfort of her home of 35 years, holding my Dad's and my hand as she took her last breath. It is the greatest privilege bestowed upon us. These ladies of Hospice are true angels on earth and we couldn't be more thankful to each of them, but, especially Barbara. You make a difference in everyone's life, Barbara. Never forget that!”
9AM - 7PM
51 Milton Rd, Rye“The Encaustic Class with Mitchell has been a wonderful experience. I have always been interested in encaustic painting and this has been my first experience as a complete beginner. I have learned so much andvery much enjoy experimenting with multi mediums with encaustics. It has truly been addicting and Mitchell is a wonderful teacher that encourages creativity. I definitely plan to take another class.”
“I've adopted 2 cats at HSW and have gotten to know them better through their TNR program. We are so lucky to have them caring for the animals, they all do the best job and have amazing and dedicated volunteers.”
“Marc is the best!! He will answer all of your questions. There are five marked trails with maps. There is a pond and places to sit and watch nature at it's best. You'll forget there is a shopping center a half mile away. Go. Go now.”

97 Main St, Dobbs Ferry“This is a fantastic organization. I've seen them in action since being introduced to them when I was in high school. Please support them in any way you can. The manager has always been wonderful and I've been able to donate many prepacked kits and non persishable snacks and bottles of drinks needed for groups to go out on runs.As a side note this is a tiny donation center managed by a very small staff. They need very specific items or groups of volunteers for the specific mission they fulfill. They are not a dumping ground for things you dont want and can't accept donations of items that can't be handed directly to a person experiencing hardship on the street, literally in the middle of the night. If you aren't sure or need a person to be available to accept your donation, email them ahead to check. The office is often staffed by people experiencing hardship and in need of work. The manager is running it with very little staff. Please don't be nasty and post rude reviews. It's a charity, not a commercial chain store. They aren't there to make you feel like you got good customer service, they're there to serve a community of people in crisis.”
“PROS: The people in here are nice and it's very clean and organized. they have many sections to choose from that range for people of all ages. CONS: They only accept cash up to $25 and parking is limited to street parking. It's also cramped inside overall: if you were in the area you should stop on in. Their prices are low for some items and high for others, just depending on what you're looking for as well”
“The walking trails at the Rye Nature Center are short, rather flat, and just beautiful. It's a great way to spend an hour or two. There's a covered, out of doors, picnic area. There's an amazing team of knowledgeable employees who care for the grounds.Very kid friendly.Ample parking.”
“My Friend just Celebrated their 25th Wedding Anniversary on a Saturday Night. Beautiful Venue to Host a Party or a Wedding Reception. Ample Parking and access to the Entrance. I attended on Crutches and realized that they do have a Ramp leading straight into the Hall on the Right Side of the Building. Nice Setup.. There's an area for a Bar and Food Service Station. The Music System has to be Provided by your personal DJ or Band.Very Nice Over All Experience.Thank You ?”

“My kids have been participating in shows (Jellybeans through Workshop & Lab) for the past 6 years. It is consistently the activity they look forward to each week. I am amazed what they can put together in 10 weeks. And, the organization is awesome! You know exactly when & where you need to be for every rehearsal before you sign up. The instructors are all extremely talented, patient & so enthusiastic. They are the best!”
