A easy, quick, and simple drop off location. I donated a few bags of clothes. Next time I'll do the same thing at this location. I think inside the store though could use a bit more organizing.

William is an incredible, upbeat and charismatic manager. you can tell his staff respects and appreciates him. Been to this spot a few times over the years to just drop off; brought family from overseas to do some shopping and they bought wrong sizes. ASked William if I could exchange 4 items 5 months later and he made the exception and was very graceful.

I have been going to the Elmont Store for many years, both as a shopper and a donator. Recently the store has changed in a negative way. Each time I have visited recently I have been disappointed with the appearance of the store and mostly by the attitude of the people who work there. Today I dropped off donations and I want to say it will be the last time I donate to or shop there. The Manager was so rude and the woman who took the donations was equally nasty. This kind of discourteousness is unacceptable and a poor reflection on the mission of the Salvation Army. Shame on you!!

If you are looking for a place to donate and easy drop off - this is the best place for it. They accept almost any and all items. From clothing to furniture. Which is very helpful when you don't want to "just throw things away"
