First time visit with our two senior cats . We were very impressed with how well the office is run, and the personnel were exceptional. We came to this practice because our favorite vet had transferred here. We couldn't be more pleased.

The staff was very sympathetic in a sorrowful time. Again, tissues and condolences. We often visit. We brought 2 young cats in to be spayed again today.

When a person steps up and rescues an animal from a shelter and your told your first wellness visit is free. However the vet doesn’t step up and honor that free visit and wants to charge you. They are a part of todays problem instead of the solution. Shame on you.

Clean and very professional. Reasonable rates. The tech massaged our cat's head so that he would not feel anxious!

Made my 6 yo poodle initial visit to get established and they got him in within a week and a half pretty, quick to me. The office was very clean & the employees were all nice. As soon as Dr Hottel came in she held her arms out and took him into her arms gave him lovins and adored him. He doesn’t usually let new people do that so I know he felt very safe and comfortable towards her. Dr Hottel was very patient and kind, she answered any questions I had. Her vet tech was very sweet as well. The ladies at check out were welcoming and talking to Toby as if he’d been a patient there for a long time! Overall the whole office from the Dr to the techs to the front desk staff were great I am so glad they were referred to me I know my boy will always be in great hands!

I could never express the gratitude I have for Dr Hottel and her staff at Home Veterinary Care. I would never put my trust elsewhere other than this establishment after the collective experiences I’ve had since acquiring our younger Basset Hound puppy back in November of 2022. In the short 6months I’ve have been blessed to raise this dog I have had I have had a few issues ranging from mild to life threatening. If it wasn’t for the attentiveness of the Vet Tech’s that assisted throughout the appointment, the urgency demonstrated by the Office Receptionists when scheduling the call, and the genuine care/compassion of the DVM at Home Veterinary Care I would have been grieving the loss of my puppy. All of these traits of the staff carry from the core itself being Dr Hottel. It’s not very common in todays world to find the level of care that you receive with every experience here. It’s not the kind of care that only comes with loving what you do but the kind of care that you’d receive from someone that’s truly carrying the weight of your concern every step of the way. What seemed like a visit pertaining to an upset stomach turned into something far worse that resulted in a very serious situation. If the staff had not pushed to get me in as soon as possible; or failed to be patient to complete a proper diagnosis, had not followed proper steps in early process of elimination, contacted a radiologist at an emergency animal hospital, then my puppy would have ultimately passed from a internal and very life threatening situation. Today my puppy is beginning recovery from a successful procedure that was very serious. I’m amazed with the outcome of a bad situation, nothing is ideal when it comes to an emergency. Without going into details we dodged so many factors that could have been fatal to our dog and I can confidently say the only common denominator is the team here. On the road to recovery my girl Laney will be home nagging her basset sister and stopping by to check on her Home Vet Care friends and howling at them in no time hopefully.
