“First time going to Harbor freight. Place was small and no matter how much I searched, I couldn't find the items that were on sale. Asked for assistance and even though the place wasn't busy, I had to wait a while for help. I followed the employee who showed how well they hid a lot of their sale items. Employee had no clue on the item I wanted to but and had asked some questions about it. Will visit another Harbor freight and see how that goes.”
“Absolute gem of a place. Old-school hardware store. They are a small, extremely clean, very organized shop that has no business having all the things they carry right there when you need them, but somehow magically manage to do it even in a space that's tiny compared with the big box behemoths.
Super, super friendly, and a great conversation too. Walked all around the place and was so pleased that it was a real, live, increasingly hard to find local hardware. I'm enthralled. I may be unhealthily enthusiastic about hardware stores ?
Prices are fabulous, big parking lot, and they help you out to your car without you having to ask.
They will be my go-to from now on, even if I have to ask them to order something and wait for it to come in. They're worth it, and I love supporting local businesses.
