I've been a long time member of First Heritage and have used this branch for many years. I applied for a home equity loan in August to get my furnace replaced and got the ball rolling then. I was advised that it would take a few weeks, but before my contractor had me scheduled in October. The branch manager has been yanking my chain since August and losing paperwork so I have to keep resubmitting it. It is now late November and the loan is set to close today, but I found out that the loan processor did not inform me of the paperwork that needed to be done for today's appointment. I rescheduled the appointment with someone in the Heights, but I'm still not confident that we can I'll actually close today. Very disappointed and will be moving to another institution after this experience.

Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience here. I was treated well when I walked in and most of the staff were pleasant and professional. However, when I was taken to the person who was to help me open a business account the women helping me was not helpful nor did it seem like she had ever opened a business account before. I am sole owner of a business S Corp. So I have no board members yet she kept insisting I did not have all my documents. Was reading from her computer the list it says I need and was not sure how to proceed. She proceeded to call someone and while speaking to the person in front of me kept saying she only has one page here and flipping through three pages at the same time. I was confused as I have 3 businesses and this wasn’t my first rodeo so to speak. I brought all that was needed. I understand if she didn’t know or wasn’t sure but her tone, eyes rolling and continued comments saying well normally people bring in all their documents and don’t have stuff missing was not professional. Even if she felt that way, that’s not how you speak to a customer who is bringing their business to yours. With that being said I thought to myself even if she figures it out, do I really want my money in this bank where I would have to worry about their service in the future. I decided to leave and went to Corning Credit Union. They were very helpful even squeezed me in at another branch after the first one I went to said they were booked. Made my appointment for me. They never asked me for any of the documents she was asking. They understood I was sole owner of a corporation. I only needed why I had brought. Opened the account with the documents I had. (Nothing Was Missing) nor did they question any of my documents.

Family oriented and helpful best credit union I've joined so far they actually care about you and your needs!! Employees are extremely helpful and go the extra mile for you at all Branches!! Southport has a great team!!! Thank you for your kindness!!!

This is the worse bank. Ever. They have done this MULTIPLE times where they will post a transaction to my account, so meaning they TAKE THAT MONEY OUT OF MY ACCOUNT. Then all of a sudden a week later they put the money back into my account. And i can't figure why I've got an extra whatever. Cause they don't put one transaction back they put multiple. Then I look through my account to see where it came from and i don't see anything strange. So i use it for my bills and they wait til i spend it on another bill for them to take it out of my damn account and make my account go negative!!!!!!!!!! I am sick of it. I can't wait to change my bank!

I'm not a member of this bank & my review is just for the drive thru ATM. This ATM has a 500$ limit to my knowledge & is a member of Empower FCU ATM's. As such it is free to use for Empower FCU cards from my experience. Hopefully this information is useful to some others.
