I can see why this place has low reviews. They are low in stock, and everything is locked away. I'm not sure how that deters anyone from stealing, as once you get it, you can walk away with it once you get ahold of it. The cashiers are so slow... I could walk around the store and come back, and I would still be waiting. All in all, be prepared for a wait

I haven't here for 20 yrs at least. It's been slightly updated. I needed some biotene gel for my mom and they ran out so I got the spray instead. We also got a few drinks as well. This place wasn't crowded at all. Still has a security guard near the entrance/exit...

The pharmacy employees are always rude, and if they mess up your order, they blame you and give a nasty attitude; I don’t know how the heck this pharmacy is still working at this point. FOR THE EMPLOYEES: if you are that unhappy with your job, at least don’t bring your problems to the customers, it is not our fault you are stuck in there and not in a big company or better place, learn some manners and how to treat a customer, that is what is call be professional, this is not the first time it happened with different employees over there.

They need more pharmacy technicians around the clock. Every time I come in to pick up my medicine (which takes only less than 1 minute), I end up waiting on average of 10 minutes on line. It's easy to pick on the people in front who hold up the line with 21 questions, but it's really the business' doing by not controlling the flow of traffic and only having one to two technicians at its busiest hours. They need to have three lines open and one of them should be for pick up only (not asking 21 questions). The cashiers also work too slow on the regular checkout lines with very slow customers who don't know whether they are coming or going. It's very irritating when my purchase always takes less than one minute.

Was gonna use the bathroom before I shop there , asked the cashier where the bathroom was, he said it's out of service and he pretended asking another coworker emphasizing it was out of service , so rude and inhumane... shopped here regularly getting OTC stuff for my mother..... not anymore

we went Sunday at 3pm to pick up prescriptions and pharmacy was closed , wondering why it say in their website it is open until 6pm. it was a waste of time .and i missed my meds for the day.

Very unsatisfactory mismanagement of inventory. Second time going to this pharmacy in 2022 and walking out empty handed. A product such as Claritin D 24 is not rocket science to have on hand! Lots of other overpriced items in store and they choose to refer to their products as "Nice." Also did not find liquid Geritol.

I remembered coming here only once to buy lotion with my mom. The store is similar to any other Walgreens. The place is quite convenient to the neighborhood as it has a train station a few feet away.

After finishing a meal at Applebee's in Astoria made a quick stop in Elmhurst and look its a Walgreens on the corner and I do need paper towels cause one can never have enough .Its late so I can't really sit my the closed pharmacy area and read a few trashy magazines but I can roam the whole place in less then 5 minutes and grab the Walgreens brand paper towels 2 for 10 bucks and scott tissue paper 5 bucks for 12 rolls. As I make my way to the stone face Walgreens cashier , darn it they have plenty of movie theater box candies for 5 boxes for 5 bucks and I hope my teeth don't rot or fall out , damn the sour patch kids. I used my Walgreens card and due to my accumulated points I got 3 bucks knocked off my total . All finished and now its off to the rfk bridge into Manhattan and if there is traffic or road work ahead its ok cause I got paper towels, Toilet paper and plenty of candy .

DON'T EXPECT ANY SERVICE! The only reason why this place is still open is because this is the closest drug store around the neighborhood. The staffs and management is garbage! The pharmacists here are very aggressive and nasty to customers and patients. It's very disturbing to see a pharmacist speaking to patients by yelling and talking to us like we're garbage. They need to start hiring better staffs here.
