Angelyna from the perfume department was a great help. I took my pre teen daughter so she can get a bday present for her BFF. She was extremely patient and had wonderful suggestions for the challenging budget that we had. She took us around the whole area. She is truly a great person and a huge asset for the department. Thank you very much in assisting my daughter for her first purchase by herself in a department store.

Needed to buy boots for my mom and the sales man named Mr Lftikher and his lady manager helped me and gave me a very good customer service and I really appreciate people who are nice and ready to help Helped me find the correct price for the boots .

This is a ridiculous experience No sales person on the floor to assistOnly one register in the whole floor with one register opened process check outs and returns! Do better Macy’s. We loyal customers deserve better

I've been calling this Macy's for a month three times a week.Nobody answered the phone in HR/office to transfer me too woman's fragrances and woman's cosmetics. I then tried men's fragrances and nobody answered.Mind you that I called a few times on the days that I called.Are you seriously going to tell me that EVERY dept is busy 15-20 mins after they open???I went into the store and have to admit that it was incredibly warm, so much that I removed my shirt and walked around in my T-shirt.The counter manager for Victor and Rolph was literally demeaning a sales associate ( she had tears in her eyes )The counter managers' badge read ANNABELLE. I walked over to the sales woman and said ( don't let her break your spirit, she's obviously bipolar or personality disorders.For me the counter manager ( ANNABELLE ) has very low self awareness which hinders the little amount of social intelligence she has.That becomes a vicious cycle of poor interpersonal communication and lack of self development. ( How does Macy's Store manager not see that) ?She Thanked me and smiled, as I continued to walk around fragrances, I could hear the same manager ( Annabelle) mistreating employees and other's she would call SWEETIE!!How she is working in that position is beyond me. She should be in the back away from people and colleagues.I noticed a few salespeople being very aggressive towards each other just to make a sale, including one of the other managers. She intimidated her colleagues and stole clients.I understand that most only earn $25.00 an hour and depend on commission but come on!Very unprofessional atmosphere!As I walked further away from fragrances and into skincare and cosmetics, it was night and day.Clique was a pleasure!I made a purchase.I went down to the men's fragrance dept ( naturally the escalator wasn't working)I was greeted by the RSS for each brand.The employee were talking amongst themselves. Listening to loud music.I wanted to buy a few fragrances and a basket of CHANEL. First off the woman behind the counter ( badge read MILDRED). Advised me that she's been working the CHANEL counter for 4 years.GREAT, she would be perfect to assist me.I advised her that I wanted to have a basket made up for a groomsmen.I already knew that I wanted the 5oz Bleu Parfume but I wanted to know the notes in the other CHANEL fragrances.She didn't know one single note in any of them, and, she's had the counter for four years? Very disappointed when she just said I don't know but you can smell them.I excused myself walked away, and a corpulent employee behind the Ralph Lauren fragrance counter said ( she doesn't really know the notes of anything)He tried to sell me fragrance from that counter however, I wasn't interested.It appeared to me that the Macy's employees had a condescending attitude and really didn't care to assist me.The RSS'S for the brands especially Paco Rabanne were very friendly and knowledgeable.I was so displeased with the level of service and lack of knowledge, not to mention how they treated one another, I left with only my purchase from Clinique.I left the store and got on the bus and went to Sack's. Incredible difference in the environment, class of employees and knowledgeable about the fragrances and professionalism.They were also very well dressed ( as one would expect from them ) nobody was aggressively in my face with a fragrance bottle.Macy's, never again, perhaps, online shopping but not in person at the Queens center mall!Addendum:I desperately needed to have a men's CHANEL basket put together for a gift.Here we go again. An older man standing in front of the counter ( badge read Phil ).He smiled and said " I'm the RSS for the brand and happy to help"Excellent! Well, he didn't know much and I was VERY uncomfortable, he kept looking at my groin area. I tried covering up but he kept looking at my zipper area and started prancing around me.I was so uncomfortable that once again, I left

Unfortunately, when I tried to address this issue, I was met with a lack of support as it was just over a month since the purchase. It's disheartening to realize that there is no guarantee on the products sold here.Furthermore, the attitude of the staff, especially the shoe department manager and supervisor, towards customer service was disappointing. They seemed to lack the basic understanding of how to engage with customers effectively.I would advise caution before making a purchase here. The experience I had raises serious concerns about the reliability and quality of products, as well as the customer service offered. It's important for potential customers to be aware of these issues."
