There are plenty of reviews that would tell you this place is horrible to stay in but we were pleasantly surprised by our stay.The location for kamway lodge is its biggest selling point - located 5 minutes walk from a major subway interchange makes getting to downtown manhatten a breeze. Jackson heights itself is an amazing place to visit on its own. Really, 5 stars ain't enough for what you're paying in terms of location.The rooms, whilst not luxurious, have adequate space, supply good bedding, have an en suite (in the tripple room), a balcony and are kept very warm in the winter.Can highly recommend this place to people looking for a less expensive option but still get a lot out of their time in NYC.Lastly, the cat was very cute.

Needs some serious renovations everything is falling apart management please I beg of you please fix this place up it has potential if you just put the effort in. Replace the floor panels get a new faucet, replace the mattresses, clean the walls. Hey at least you have a TV and curtains lol. Someone please do a full 360 makeover for this lodge it will be worth it. It's the only hotel within the 74st station, represent this city better, be proud of your lodge. Fix this.

If you are looking for an inexpensive place to just sleep in NYC this one would work for you. Close to the subway and thousands of stores and restaurants around. Check the places at little Thailand, where you find incredible authentic Thai food.

NEVER STAY HERE!!!THIS PLACE IS SUPER DIRTY.The entire room is dirty, the walls, the floor, the bathroom, black mold, hairs, cockroaches, there was a bottle in the middle of the blanket that of course is not ours!!! This is unacceptableThis is the worst experience someone can have.

The floor hasn't been cleaned for months! Cobweb all over the room! Do not believe what you see in the pictures of this place. Location is very good.

Great customer service. They helped me with parking during one of the busiest time of the year!!! Quiet and convenient near public 24 hours public transportation.The owner helped me personally with some cycling questions as I used my bike going in and out of Manhattan.i will go back!!!George

if you are attracted by the low price of this hotel, you might end up looking for a more expensive hotel and paid double money.The owner didn’t open the door for me and didn’t answer my calls. I had to find another hotel. The next day I made the call, the owner even yelled at me, saying he was in the basement and it was my fault for not being able to find him. And he refused to give my money back.This is definitely THE worst experience in my whole life. I could give negative five stars if there is one. And I think this place should be taken off from the listings

DO NOT TO CHOOSE THIS HOTEL FOREVER! This is a terrible hotel I never see! My plane plan to arrive late, and I confirmed with the hotel’s owner a week ago. He said they have 24 hr service and they will always be there. However, when I arrived the hotel there is no one there and no one take the phone call. I was waiting and waiting…. until the midnight, no one gives response. So I finally took cab again and found a new hotel in the midnight. Really bad experience! I called the owner next morning and he took the call. He even blame me for not finding him, he told me he is sleeping in the basement of the building and why I could not find them!!!? He refused to back money to me and never apologize.

Would give 0 or negative stats if possible. Terrible experience staff does not speak English at all . Travelocity or other third party agents should remove this property from their providers list. Very frustrating trying to get last minute accommodations at 1 in the morning due to the lack of communication and service from this place. TERRIBLE DO NOT GO THERE!!!!!

Very bad motel I booking online $100.00 but this gai say I don't take card I take only cash but charge my card plus I pay $100.00 cash total charge me $200.00 so bad gai.

I wish I could give this place a negative 5 stars. They advertised this hostel as if it were a hotel. They had me believe that it was $45 for a room with an extra bed, bathroom and parking. I drove 5 hours from NH to get a shower, good food, relax then head out. AT LEAST THE PEOPLE WHO LEFT REVIEWS GOT TO STAY! There was no parking whatsoever. The only car in that 1 space they had, had to be the owners. The man didn't speak a word of English. He started to speak to me in his language as if I spoke Chinese. It took him at least 10 minutes to confirm my reservation... eventhough I showed him everything on my phone. It was like speaking to a wall. The man made it seem as if I didn't belong there. He then mentioned that the rooms were only for 4 people and I needed to find 3 more people in order to stay. I kinda figured something was up because of the price and the fact that the phone rang out 3x when I attempted to call prior to my check in time as requested. False advertisement and I should've went with my gut. Much respect to those who gave this spot more than 2 stars. You guys are very kind. STAY AWAY!!!

Wish I could give negative stars but this app doesn’t allow that! WORSE PLACE I HAVE EVER STAYED AT!!! No soap, no shampoo, no conditioner, busted toilet, no wash clothes, nasty stained linens, flat pillows, flat comforter, thin walls, ripped busted bamboo shades, metal bunk bed, thin mattresses on the bunk bed, and the queen bed was a metal frame with a box spring for a mattress. Barely any toilet paper. The guy doesn’t understand English & doesn’t speak it. Saw him twice- when we checked in & when we left. They don’t clean the rooms. Blood stains on the floor. Metal chair. Tv antenna cord wrapped around the pipe on the ceiling. You can not get extra towels, pillows, or blankets. DO NOT GO HERE!!! Should be shut down!!
