ive been with citibank 3.5 decades now, it saddened me reading the not so good reviews about this place. I felt sorry for those depositors who claimed about waiting for a long time in line, and for me it's same experience in any other banks.I find banking now easy, you can do a lot of transactions through your mobile phone at home, and if you need to talk with a specific representative, all you need is to make an appointment, quick and easy you're out of the bank. Thank you Yelitza in particular for the help and answered inquiries every time i showed up do some transactions. Also last year , i accidentally left my card and you stayed for me to pick it up because i'm flying the fallowing day. I appreciate it so much. Thank you again.

Some of the staff here are rude. Even with the appointment, the staff wasn’t there on time. Tellers also need to be trained to be professional and polite.

I don’t even want to give one star,worst experience of my visit,I got there at 11am and lady told me all the staff went out for lunch..hello!!! There are five counters but no staff to assist.such a lazy people in this bank.after 40 minutes I was called up and then I told her about what I need asked me I need this and that blah blah..first of all they didn’t pick up the call as I wanted ask what documentation I need.i have the most important document that they need and it’s could be done but she was Bhola blah.I called them 100 times nobody answered ?? waiting for 40 minutes finally nothing done,such a waste of time.never going to visit this branch.this bank should be closed permanently.what the use of there is no staff to assist.opening at 9am and heading out for at 11am for 40 minutes.what kind of schedule is that!!! Such a disappointment.NEVER EVER WILL GO THERE AGAIN.

I'd rate this business-5 stars if I could. Citizen Bank must be the one of the worst banks ever. I did not hold 2 accounts with Citizen by choice. But I have these accounts when Citizen bought some HSBC accounts, including mine. I visited the Elmhurst NYC branch this morning to close my accounts because Citizen is charging fees. The bank teller informed me that their one and only check printing machine was broken. I was directed to go visit another branch miles away. How can a NYC bank branch be so poorly equiped??? I asked them to give me cash (it was only about $10K) and they explained that senior citizens have already taken most of the branch's cash earlier in the month when they cashed out their benefits. So a bank did not have cash??? They offered me the option to wire the money to my other bank account for a $30 fee. I asked that the fee be waived because it was not my fault. The bank manager told me the fee was built in. The experience was so horrible and sad that I had to laugh. The employees at the branch were very apologetic. I felt really sorry that they worked for such a lousy business. Now I have to waste more time going to another branch to retrieve MY money. I advise all Citizen employees to work elsewhere and account holders to close out their accounts.
